  • Price was pretty good
Very satisfied with the quality of these cues for the price. Would shop again.

  • Best Cues for the Price!!!!
I often purchase lower end pool cues to keep the bar stocked. These are by far some of the best, right up there with the Havoc brand cues. I shaped the tips before setting them out. The tips are high quality with plenty of material to shape and round out. The cues play well above their price point, and look much higher end than the typical bar cue. Patrons were complementing and questioning if they were personal cues. At about $16 dollars per cue these are top notch. ... show more

  • They look good on the outside. It's inside what counts.
Seem to be okay. Just received them. They look nice. No warped shafts. Tips are all intact. They come boxed together wrapped in plastic. No padding to speak of. I think I got lucky. I got 1 - 18oz, 2 - 19oz, and 2 - 20oz. Would like to have had at least one 21oz. to have a relatively varied set. If you buy these, understand that it appears that you get whatever weight cue they want to toss into the box. As far as functionality, I will repost an update when I have given them a proper evaluation. ... show more

  • You'll spend more on repair than you will on the sticks, themselves
UPDATE: I'm changing my review to 1 star. I'll leave my original review under this update, however. After 4 days of use, only one stick remains usable. 3 of the ferrules shattered from ordinary play. No sticks were dropped, and none of the tips ever touched the floor. The ferrules are just cheap, thin plastic, and they all cracked. Even the ones we didn't use for breaking. One of the shafts was just raw, untreated, unfinished wood. All of the others have a thin coat of varnish on them, but for whatever reason, one just never went through the process. It cracked and split like balsa wood. These sticks are a complete waste of money for any level of play. Don't even buy them for kids, as you'll put way more money into repairing them than you would just buying a quality stick. ORIGINAL REVIEW: 2 of the 3 cues were unusable. 3 of them were ... fine, I guess? They were cheap, so I wasn't expecting perfection by any means. But a shaft on one cue was rough and sincerely felt like it was made out of balsa wood. It had hairline cracks and indentations all over it. Another stick lasted one day before the ferrule (the plastic sheath that you glue the tip to) cracked. So now I'll need to replace that, and completely toss the other, crappy shaft. 3 of the sticks seem to be holding up just fine, which is great because for roughly $60, that's more than I could reasonably expect. I got them as starter cues for my kids and wife, but I think I'm just going to shell out the extra cash and buy good ones for each of them, and maybe use these for guests who I don't really like or respect. "Here's your cue, MOM! Choke on it!" ... show more
