I bought a show 15. And needed to mount it differently than the mount that comes with it. I purchased about 3-4 mounts that were returned because they just weren't sturdy enough or had one problem or another. One even came with out screws. When I bought THIS bracket my search was done. It had everything I needed plus some. I'm extremly happy with this bracket. This mounting bracket is amazing ! It beat the others I bought out of the water. If your looking for a mounting bracket that's sturdy, well made and does exactly what it says it will do plus some. Your search is over ! I WISH I found this bracket mounting system first. It would have saved me a lot of headache. I mounted my show next to my bed and when I need it. I can use it flush against the wall or pull iy towards me and even tilt it if needed. The bracket has smooth moving and tight feeling components. Unlike the others I bought and sent back. It has the ability to tilt and be tightened to keep it at a tilt. Or tilt and be tilted back when your done with it being tilted. Without any tools. This bracket mounting system is made of very good material. And it well made. If I EVER EVER need another bracket for a different product I'm DEFINITELY coming back to this company. Everytime. You can tell they take pride in their products. It had amazing workmanship. I rarely write reviews. But I wanted to save the consumer the headache I had to deal with by sending back 3 orn4 other brackets before finding this one. This will be your first purchase and last. Sure I could start by saying this is a full motion Mount for the Echo 15. I could even point out how if you mount it correctly you’ll have no worries on if it’s strong enough to hold the device… because it is! I could also say the tilt feature is strong enough to keep the device right where you want it to be… But the most important thing about this mount is it put you in position to keep the 15 from being directly on the wall. Why is that important?! Because now you can actually hear and I mean clearly hear the sound without the muffled effect! And that’s important because you very well may want to know what’s being said while listening to music, playing a video, or just plain old getting a response from Alexa! You’ve already paid a pretty penny for the Echo (and it’s worth it!), don’t take the inexpensive route and get a mount that’s less expensive simply because of price. Do it right the first time so you won’t be disappointed in the mean time of wishing you had gotten this one instead!

I like the extension arm so you can pull out the product so I can read recipes while cooking. The installation is probably easy for most guys but it took me 30 minutes and was kinda tedious . Definitely need a power screwdriver for this project lol. The plastic pieces that went into the wall to secure the screws were not long or thick enough as the echo show screen I attached to it was heavy for it. So the screws are already pulling away from the wall due to that so I will now have to find some plastic wall inserts that are larger and redo it again. I also don’t like the way that it’s not flush to the wall if the arm is not extended. It’s a good product but maybe recommend more sturdy parts to attach to the wall.

As a happy owner of a Show 8, I was intrigued by the 15, the idea of permanent widgets. I've been wanting a 'bathroom mirror' smart display, but with nothing available, I thought I could use this for my morning briefings, schedule, etc. We ended up mounting it in the kitchen anyway, so... a few observations: 1) Not a lot of available widgets. Six slots, so my calendar, weather, SmartHome shortcuts and... 3 left. I don't use Alexa for my to-do or shopping list so.. wasted space. 2) Hadn't used Amazon photos before, so I uploaded about 500 family photos. I like the Amazon photos web site- a good find. The photo frame did a good job of cycling them in the top 1/3 of the frame (my wife got addicted watching them scroll). You can move it to full screen, but eventually it 'times out' to the normal home screen. I would have kept the Show 15 if I could just set it in full time picture frame mode (like our Skylight, which is too small). 3) Eventually, it got in some mode where a photo was paused, and even though I yelled at it 6 times to "go home" and "go to home screen", it remained stuck. I had to power cycle it. Nope, that's a show stopper for us. My wife is not techy, and I don't need one more device in our house she depends on to randomly lock up and me to be called to fix it. 4) Speakers are crap, but that's understandable given the form factor. 5) Impossible to get it level. The mounting bracket was 100% level, but I think there's something about how the Show hangs in the frame that makes it un-level. Mounting frame needs some kind of small rotational adjustment capability after mounting. So, given that and the lack of useful widgets or ability to just set it to a photo frame mode, it's going back in the box and going back home. The Show 8 goes back to its spot in the kitchen, and I have 4 holes in the wall to patch...

I installed this in the kitchen and all the tilt functions make it so no matter where the sun is I can move it out of the glare. Thanks for an amazing product
