No good pump
Revised: pump stopped working after pumping 25 gallons of washer fluid, waste of time and monies and I have missed the deadline to send it back, going stright into the garbage and looking for something better. Pump came well packaged, nice light material and not to heavy, easy to assemble and I will be using it to pump windshield washer fluid out of a 55 gallon plastic barrel, the pipes snap together easily and the pump mounting nut is adjustable to height of whatever size barrel one is using, pumps great amount of liquid, the threads for the pump and the neck are super fine so be careful when you put it together, easy to cross thread and ruin the pieces, the treads IMO could be a bit coarser and it will still work just fine, decent pump and a good price also

Great concept, oily residue
I gave it a 3 because the concept is great, but there is an oily residue that comes out when pumping the water and I was not sure it would be safe for my garden. Had it not been for the oil residue, I would have given it a 5 and I would not have returned it. It would be great to have one that did not disperse oil in the water.

Functional and basic. Durability might be suspect
I bought this pump to use on a large 55-gallon olive barrel where I capture rainwater to recycle about the garden. It pumps well and is easy to use and seems like it might be good for other fluids and solvents as well but I haven’t tested for that. There is a long pipe that reaches the bottom of the barrel, so that is a good functional point I would emphasize. There is a threaded sleeve to keep the pipe and handle in place on the barrel lid. As to value: I think it’s probably a little overpriced for what it does, honestly, and it remains to be seen whether the plastic stands up to intense sunlight. Mine seems to have faded a bit over last year and this might not portend well for the durability of the material. But since I can’t say for sure I’m giving this 4 stars.

junk
cheap junk. put it together,put it in a barrel of diesel and started cranking. fuel shoots out from a flawed hole in the casting.couldnt wait another week for a replacement so took it apart and stuffed the hole with j-b weld. we will see how it goes
