I felt after reading mixed reviews that it would be a crap shoot as to what came in the box and what condition they would be in. I was delightfully surprised to find them all in good health and the variety was pleasing. I think there were only two duplicates. Some of the pots had multiple plants and I was able to successfully separate them into different pots. I waited to post my review to see if any failed to thrive. One lost about half of its leaves, but has bounced back. Pros: good mix of healthy plants, packages extremely well, shipped overnight delivery. Now, a couple of things to note. These are mostly cuttings, and some have multiple in the pots with very few established roots. You could leave them in the pots they came in to allow them to mature a bit more before transplanting. They were quite saturated, but luckily they shipped them overnight from, I believe, Florida, so they hadn't had time to get root rot or anything. One plant, the one that lost half of its leaves had gone a bit mushy, but it has recovered nicely. Some of the pants were mislabeled. I am happy they took the time to add plant labels, but it doesn't help if they are for the wrong plant. One pepperomia was labeled as a nerve plant, for example. So, those small issues aside, this was well worth the price paid. All of my plants are thriving. I would definitely recommend this company. ... show more

I got this set of plants because I recently had to move across the country and was unable to bring my plants with me. This seemed like a good, and inexpensive way to restart a new collection. In this set of plants I received 2 Hawaiian pothos, 1 silver satin pothos, 1 marble queen pothos, 1 variegated spider plant, 1 burgundy wandering jew, 1 variegated peperomia, 2 butterfly arrowhead plants, and 1 of some sort of red angel wing begonia. The begonia was not labeled, I just happened to already know what it was, though I am not sure I will be able to nail down the exact sort of angle wing begonia. All of the plants looked very nice while still in the plastic. I was happy enough with the variety of plants I received, although I would have been happier if there had not been any repeats. All the plants were also a little bigger than I was expecting which was nice. When I repotted all the plants I discovered a few things. Each pothos plant had three rooted cuttings inside its pot. The silver satin pothos cutting had not been put into the pot very long ago at all, none of them had very much root, the smallest root was only about an inch long. This isn't a huge deal because it is so easy to grow pothos, but it means the plant will probably have slower growth to begin with than the ones that were better rooted. The soil in that pot was so wet it was like mud. The other pothos plants were better rooted but it was still easy to separate out the roots from the three cuttings in each pot. One of the Hawaiian pothos plants was extremely dry. The remaining two pothos were pretty wet. Several of the other plants also had very wet soil. One of the arrowhead plants had very nice roots, but the other was suffering from mild root rot. The spider plants was very wet and it's roots were a bit mushy, I wouldn't say root rot yet, but if I had left it in the pot instead of immediately repotting it, it quickly would have gotten to that point. The wandering Jew has very nice color to it which I am pleased with. But it was also overly wet. The begonia on the other hand was excessively dry. The peperomia was the only plant that seemed to have an appropriate amount of moisture in the soil. None of the plants seem to have any pests as far as I can see. Despite the moisture issues, I am confident that all of the plants will survive, even the one with mild root rot. I will update if something changes and a plant ends up dying. Overall I am satisfied. If I ever am in similar circumstances I would be happy to buy this again. However, if you decide to purchase these I would plan to repot everything immediately upon receiving the plants in order to give them all the best chance to thrive. Leaving them such overly wet pots for very long would likely kill some of the plants. ... show more

Almost all of them arrived happy and healthy. Two of them I am still trying to nurse back to happiness after months. None have died yet and all except the icy and tradescantia are thriving. My one wish is that I didn’t get a spider plant, I gave that one away. EDIT: After trying to rehab the to two that came unhappy they sadly didn’t make it. The others don’t seem to be growing or getting any bigger just trying to survive. ... show more

I bought the 6 plant set in the beginning of Feb and they arrived in a neatly packed box that could pass as an egg carton! They were that tiny, but slightly larger than seedlings. Some soil was displaced which is to be expected and except one of the plants others looked healthy. I immediately repotted them and found different places for them in my home where they receive partial shade. Taken this month, in May, attached is a picture of Fittonia (short nerve plant) which prefers a full day shade and one of the Philodendrons which loves partial daylight. I use an indoor plants liquid fertilizer now, but initially I had to use hydrogen peroxide (diluted to one part water and one part peroxide) to stimulate leaf and root growth and also to take care of gnats from the potting soil I used. I also got the spider plant, crotons, marble queen pothos and Ivy , all of which are doing good now. My daughter loves the marble queen pothos for the brightly colored white and green leaves and has it in her room. These plants don't require a lot of hefty maintenance and is so easy to care, even for beginners. Compared to standard outlets that sell plants or special nurseries, I would say, for the price, it's a good deal! ... show more
