Plants arrived pretty torn up but I trimmed the majority of the dead and damaged leaves they’re making a comeback. Outside of treating for pests, Don’t do anything, definitely don’t repot! If it came soaked like mine, let it dry out and water it when the top few inches are dry and leave it to get comfortable in your home for a few months then repot with a good chunky soil. Honestly, if you live far from a costa distributor, like me, I wouldn’t even bother shipping them. Just wait for summertime. I found a 4ft monstera for $25 in front of my local grocer that was full of five different plants! I have to repot it because it’s probably root bound but I’ll give it a month or so. They’re easy to source. I adjusted the stakes after taking a photo, but you’ll want those behind the big back of the stem (the one that all the leaves (petioles) grow out of. I am satisfied with them plant.

I have ordered two plants from Costa Farms and they were by far "THE BEST" online plants I have ever received. However, after only two months my 20" large Monstera Deliciosa started developing dark black spots on the healthy leaves with yellow rings around them. I googled what could be causing this as I had already transplanted this plant and used new healthy soil, placed it into a 3" larger pot and removed it from the growers pot. I also made sure that it was receiving bright indirect light (as prescribed). The results that came back from google were that Monsteras Deliciousa's that developed black spots on them with yellow rings were more than likely diseased!! It also recommended that I cut off all leaves that displayed these spots to prevent other healthy leaves from being affected!! I have done just that and I am down to only a few healthy leaves left. Each one eventually developing these black spots!! It is only a fragment of the first beautiful plant that I initially received and I believe that it was diseased from the start!! I have contacted Costa Farms and I am waiting to hear back from them to hopefully replace this diseased plant. That's $50+ dollars (+ new soil and pot costs) down the drain so far, and just think that I held them in such a high regard before this. My other plant (a Raven ZZ plant) is doing great!! I don't think I will ever order another Monstera Deliciousa from Costa Farms again!! Stay away from this plant if you know any better! unless you don't mind receiving diseased plants!

So I bought this plant on prime day, it took about a week to get here. It is huge, good size for the price. It was also packaged well but a lot of the leaves were torn. About a week after getting it I noticed a plant next to it had tiny cobwebs on it (I assumed cobwebs) and wiped it down. About two weeks after that the plant has been doing good and unfurling leaves that were brown. I decided to repot and so glad I did. It had an infestation of spider mites crawling all through the root systems. I ended up having to spray and repot all the plant nearby it too. So it is a good size plant for the money, but be sure you repot it immediately and treat for bugs.

I got this about a month ago. This photo is from like week 2. It's grown at least a foot since I got it and new leaves are opening every day even the big big ones I thought the littles became the big ones but no. I don't know anything about plants I've killed everything I've ever tried to grow indoors but I got this and the 3 pack of exotic angel plants that are so cute and they are all thriving and actually growing. Most of them are hearty plants. I have north south facing windows only so I was putting them outside a few hours a day but bought a grow lamp and that seems to be working good. Have a ponytail Palm on the way from them and can't wait. Going to order alllll their plants. Everyone comments on how much they love the monstera even though it's taken over my studio apt but I got a moss stick to attach the stalks to. The leaves are so big and plump and gorgeous. The soil mostly stayed in the pot. They all arrived in great condition and all of the different plants are thriving They aren't letting me write a separate review for my second one. I love this farm I've bought like 20 things from them they are always great except this last monstera I ordered one of the bamboo sticks that keep the package secure was stuck right through one of the gigantic leaves and ripped it in half. It was like that when I got it when I took the paper off there was the big piece of leaf sitting in the dirt. Which normally would be fine but this was a housewarming present and I don't want to give it to them since the tallest one is all messed up
