This is the 3rd online order I have made with Costa Farms/Amazon!!!! Once again a healthy plant and well packaged for the journey. I was hesitant to make the purchase online as I have seen them recently in stores in my area but not in such good shape and I wanted to make sure I purchased a healthy plant. A little more pricey online than in the store but with the purchase including the seagrass basket and assurance of knowing that your plant has only been sitting around for 5 or so days (shipping) vs weeks in the store without proper care/water, makes it worth the few extra $$ for the online purchase. It came with the seagrass basket which the container does fit into but I personally don't like the look of it with the Monstera. I will use it with one of my other plants or once my MD becomes a little fuller so went out and got a simple planter for now. The soil was wet, which I was worried about as the plant had been traveling since Friday and I received on Wednesday. I will be sitting the container on some paper towels to help pull away some of the water in the soil to help avoid any issues of root rot or fungus gnats, etc. It is on the smaller side considering the size of the container pot but I know Monstera's will grow so I am not worried as it will fill out the pot. There are several smaller leaves that will eventually get bigger. The plant itself is overall healthy, One of the leaves has some damage but I think it will be okay, Currently a new leave is in the process of unfurling, hopefully there will be no effects to it from the shipping. This will make my 3rd Monstera Deliciosa and my 33rd plant overall. Most of my plants are Costa Farms, from local retail stores in my area. I have been happy with all of my Amazon/Costa Farms plant purchases - 2 Snake Plants, 2 Dracaena's, 2 Dragon Trees - January 2021- all are healthy and thriving and now 1 Monstera Deliciosa!!!!

My monstera arrived in many broken pieces as it was not packaged well whatsoever! Most of the plant was obviously DEAD, too, as I could smell that it was ROTTING. So I removed the top layer of soil, etc to reveal the roots. To my horror, the roots were disgustingly mushy, smelled terrible, BUGS had infested the entire root system and pot it was in, and the plant itself was obviously DEAD!! I immediately took pictures of everything just as it arrived, sent pictures and a write up of what the condition was when it arrived, and sent it in to Costa Farms just as I was directed to do. I was told to expect to hear back from someone at Costa Farms within two days. That was SEVERAL WEEKS AGO now and I still have yet to hear from anyone at Costa Farms! I believe this speaks volumes as to how much this company truly cares about the PRODUCT they send out, as well as what their customers think and how satisfied/dissatisfied they are!! I paid over $50 for a rotting, broken, infested plant, along with absolutely no communication whatsoever from the company it came directly from!! Obviously (and very unfortunately for me), Costa Farms is out for one thing… the MIGHTY BUCK and could care less about the products they are selling, along with the satisfaction of their customers! I will definitely NOT be doing business with Costa Farms again, and I warn anyone else who is thinking of purchasing anything from Costa Farms to find another company who actually cares!!!

I was really happy with this purchase. I had bought houseplants online for much more money and not a lot more value. The plant is large, healthy and very well packaged. Just there was so much- not sure if it is fertilizer, pesticide or what but there was a green chemical all over the leaves. I would give five stars if not for this. I wash the leaves every time I water so it is almost gone but I think it burned the older leaves a bit. I still would order again from this company as it is a very good value.

The photos are 1 hour after my plant was unboxed. The Philodendron Birkin arrived in perfect condition. Very well wrapped, no soil all over it was secured in the plant pot. Had a long bamboo stake to keep it upright and stationary in shipping and arrived 1 day early. I'd give more stars if I could. The plant is very healthy, and looks like it's been here for weeks not hour.

I have given it just shy of a week to settle in before reviewing. Honestly, most of what I’ve ordered with Costa Farms has been great. But, my monstera was delivered in super subpar condition which, just isn’t typical of the Costa Farms standard. While the leaves are massive, many are ripped, brown or crumpled beyond belief. Pretty bummed this time around. I may reach out and see if they will do a swap with me but, if not I will have to chop most of the leaves off it seems. UPDATE 1: I reached out to Costa Farms directly today via their website. I submitted a form for assistance and had included the situation. Within an hour I got that typical automated “we will be back to you soon” and I honestly figured I’d hear back within 2-3 days. NOPE! About an hour after that automated email- I was emailed by a human stating they would be happy to ship me a replacement and will respond with the tracking. I really do LOVE costa farms for quality, price and selection- it’s just an occasional beat up plant which happens ya know. Costa Farms will ALWAYS make it right. I think it’s mainly the shipping carriers causing the damage but, I’m grateful they are a company with integrity. I will update when the replacement arrives!

I got this about a month ago. This photo is from like week 2. It's grown at least a foot since I got it and new leaves are opening every day even the big big ones I thought the littles became the big ones but no. I don't know anything about plants I've killed everything I've ever tried to grow indoors but I got this and the 3 pack of exotic angel plants that are so cute and they are all thriving and actually growing. Most of them are hearty plants. I have north south facing windows only so I was putting them outside a few hours a day but bought a grow lamp and that seems to be working good. Have a ponytail Palm on the way from them and can't wait. Going to order alllll their plants. Everyone comments on how much they love the monstera even though it's taken over my studio apt but I got a moss stick to attach the stalks to. The leaves are so big and plump and gorgeous. The soil mostly stayed in the pot. They all arrived in great condition and all of the different plants are thriving They aren't letting me write a separate review for my second one. I love this farm I've bought like 20 things from them they are always great except this last monstera I ordered one of the bamboo sticks that keep the package secure was stuck right through one of the gigantic leaves and ripped it in half. It was like that when I got it when I took the paper off there was the big piece of leaf sitting in the dirt. Which normally would be fine but this was a housewarming present and I don't want to give it to them since the tallest one is all messed up
