I had little hope would perform well based on the price but decided to give it a try anyways. I installed this on a 2000 Silverado with the 5.3 that I recently installed electric fans so I wanted more amps over the stock 105 amp. I used it for less than a day, if I was sitting with the BLINKER on the voltage would drop and could visibly see the drop on the gauge which I also confirmed with a multimeter. With that being said when the air conditioning is switched on the voltage would drop as low as 12v. The voltage would also spike while driving or randomly drop. I bought a 145 amp from a O’Reillys and have zero issues. Spend the money the first time and save the time and possible damage the faulty unit may cause with is variable voltage spikes and drops.
