This probably installs much easier on other K-series Honda/Acura cars, but on an RSX it is a complicated and timely job. Thankfully, the alternator has been working fine and seems like it should last for a while.

Everything was good with the purchase of this product the only issue I had was with the delivery. The driver delivered to the wrong address after I had to wait about a week due to the box being damaged through transport. I love that they do that but I had to wait until I received my refund before I could purchase the new one. Long story short I had to wait another couple days to receive the replacement. I put it on didn’t work but I needed a new belt and now my ride is riding good so far. Great price for a great product.

The bolt holes didn't line up perfectly but I managed to get all 3 bolts in. I've been running it for a few months with zero issues. Came with a billet Pulley as well. Definitely good for the price

Purchased this product based on reviews and recommendations and I’m sorry to report this alternator was absolutely NO GOOD! After getting the part put in professionally, and driving around for 2 months, the part began making noises and malfunctioning. Before understanding that it was the NEW alternator that was at fault, I took it back to the mechanic for troubleshooting. Took a good hard look at everything else it could have been, we realized it was, indeed, the recently replaced alternator. At that point I was past amazon’s return window. This was a bad product. Reached out for warranty replacement through the company’s customer service and NOTHING. Very disappointed. This was an expensive mistake that has now created more issues for my vehicle.

Update to my review. Purchased mid May 2020, started making noise November 2021. Less than 20k on the part. Should have bought a rebuilt Denso. For $75 hard to complain but wish it lasted longer. As best as I could tell the rear bearing on this unit went. Electrically was still working, however noise was too loud to tolerate. Replaced with a rebuilt Denso from Rock Auto. So the conclusion is don't expect miracles. Previous portion of review: So far a perfect replacement, will continue to update this as time goes by. Recently also installed a starter from DB Electrical for my 2006 Honda CR-V. Initial impressions with DB products is very good. Time will tell and I will definitely update my reviews to reflect performance over time. 10/28/2020. (5 month update). No issues so far, working great. Been driving less (due to Covid) than in months and years past, so I think I drove as much in 5 months as I would in 2 normally. However both the alternator and starter for 2006 CRV from DB Electrical have been performing just fine. 1/12/2021. Still no issues, working just fine. Both alternator and starter doing just fine. 5/13/2021 No issues alternator and starter working just fine.

the alernator fit almost perfect on my 2002 Acura RSX Type S , i was only able to put 1 bolt on as its a bit off for the second one to work however the alternator is not OEM which i understand and its functioing great 4/5 is not bad especially for the price , no battery indicator on either overall im happy with this product, there is slight room for that 5 stars though , thank you

I had tried another cheaper brand of alternator and after installation the Battery light would not go out. I even took it to the auto parts store and had them check it out. Seller refunded my money and after checking out several others I settled on one from DB electrical. Seems they have a good reputation. It bolted right on and so far it has been working great. Getting over 14 volts and battery light stays off. This is a pain to install so I hope it gives me years of service,.

Went to install the alternator and found that the bottom bolts holes didn't line up with the holes on the motor. The hole on one side isnt centered and is clearly why it didn't align. I was going to just put the top and one of the bottom ones on and call it good but when I went to tighten the bottom bolts it bottomed out on the treads about a quarter inch before it even touches the alternator. This is clearly bad manufacturing. I will be returning and going with a different brand. If you can get the holes drilled correctly how can I trust the electrical portion is done right?
