I ordered and received this YOMALL alternator for my 2012 Toyota Highlander SE, which sports the 3.5L V-6 engine. This replacement is a direct fit to replace the OEM alternator. When I opened the shipping package, I found the alternator separately placed in another box. However, I noticed that the box had been previously opened. I was concerned that maybe I received a returned product, but aside from the tape being cleanly cut, everything looked fine. The new alternator was well packaged in soft foam to keep it in place. I took the alternator to a local auto shop that did a quick bench test, and I was happy to find out that it was given a thumbs up. I took it back home and soon after replaced the OEM alternator. It took me awhile to get it done, but that's only due to the engine's design and placement. That aside, all went well and the replacement is working fine. For a new alternator, this is a great value.

This fits 2011 Highlander and works properly. It seems well made, and doesn't make any strange noises. The dash charging light no longer comes on, and the system now charges at about 13.5 volts.
