The media could not be loaded. DANG, this is like my old school boombox on steroids. I got it for a houseparty we were throwing for my daughter's 21st birthday. I seriously felt like I was back in college. The sound on this thing is BEYOND!! The front facing woofers give you that heart thumping, rumbling sound and great quality bass. The sound is crisp and super clear with no distortion. Along with rocking sound quality, it's got 4 different LED lighting modes. You can set it to a slow fade, multi-color slow fade, solid blue or it'll beat to music. I wish I would've gotten a video at the party, but we were having too much fun and I forgot. It charges very quickly and you can get around 20 hours of playtime. That's insane!! You can charge it with the normal wall charger that it comes with or use the USB charging port to connect to a USB power source, like a power bank, laptop or wall outlet. You can also charge your phone with it while using the speaker. It'll connect to any bluetooth enabled device and has a 100 foot range. It's easy to pair and after the first time it will automatically connect to your device when you turn the speaker on. It's crazy, but you can connect up to 50 House Party enabled speakers at the same time. WHAT?!?! That'd be like your own concert. The functionality and options are amazing. It's even waterproof, so I can use it in my pool. That's going to be amazeballs this summer!! If you want a powerful, high quality speaker with sound that'll knock your socks off, stop looking and buy this speaker. I'm sure you'll love it as much as I do!!

What a fun piece of equipment. I say this because just like when I gather all equipment needed to work outside, grabbing my music box is just another part of my tools. The sound quality is so nice, love love love the bass and the volume is, well I can only say fabulous. Being waterproof is also great; We are always outside, so having our choices of music playing gives a huge pick me up while it fills our backyard.

Product is not charging at all - right out of the box. Played a few minutes before dying. Sound quality good for the brief minutes it played. Sent to Altec under warranty within a day or so of delivery. Waited 2 weeks. After Altec returned to me, it charged the first time. Used for 2 hours. Tried to charge it again, but wouldn't charge. Maybe my luck with Altec Lansing products. I probably wouldn't buy Altec Lansing again. This is the second straight Lansing product I bought with technical issues. A compact speaker, Model IMW1100 worked for just few weeks then stopped charging. I returned to Amazon and bought another one (same IMW 1100). The replacement charges but the illuminating lighting system does not work. I got tired of returning to Amazon and just kept it. I hope someone in the delivery chain is not purposely selling defective Altec Lansing items.

Great quality sound, much more powerful than expected (coming from someone with a 10k home theater stereo) definitely recommend. It's still a portable Bluetooth speaker so don't expect perfect sound. Had an issue with it and it was resolved immediately by the seller

Well, I got this for the backyard, for when we grill and swim. Its just OK. Inside of a room it is loud for sure, but in the open, it's barely good enough in my opinion, even if it is close to you. The sound quality is great, very clear, very rich sound and a very nice amount of bass for what it is. Just lacks power imo. Its rugged, battery is great...

I had no idea that I'll text was still making products but I'm glad that I saw this and their newest line of speakers. I previously bought a similar style boombox from a different brand but wasn't overall impressed with the overall structure of the model. This one though feels secure all around and has a unique geometric shape, triangular with a solid framing, that makes me feel that it will hold up well over many trips, occasional bumping and banging around. It's very easy to use, intuitive layout for the buttons on the device. The LEDs are bright and really amplify the party mood even in a home setting. Clear sound with distinctive base and treble adjustments. Has a good weight to it and it's not feel cheaply made or rushed in terms of design!
