This little hydrajolt speaker is awesome! It's lightweight, but very sturdy and durable. It's the perfect size to take kayaking and the built-in carabiner clip rocks. I can easily secure the speaker to my kayak with it, so I no longer have to worry about losing it. Even if it does fall out or my kayak flips over, there's no reason to fret because it's IP67 waterproof. I can attest that it truly is because I forgot to attach it to the kayak and I accidentally knocked it out. I freaked, but thank goodness it floats! What a lifesaver! I'm thrilled with the high quality sound that you get out of this compact little unit. It's crystal clear and the volume goes high enough that it can be heard from quite a ways away. It's got good range and keeps a good connection to my phone. The light function adds a little extra to the unit. There are 11 LED light modes that can change with the music. The battery life is fantastic. We can be out on the water all day without worrying about it dying. All of that stuff is really great, but my favorite thing is that it can be used as a powerbank to charge your phone. You don't know how many times that has saved my behind. I'm the worst about going out in the kayak and forgetting to fully charge my phone first. 😳😬 I'm impressed with the sturdiness, design, sound and functionality that this speaker overs. we had it for 3 months called the manufacture and they changed it out NO PROBLEM. this is 3rd on now 1st one got wet by the pool, took it with him in the shower and then submerged it in the pool several times then it finally broke 16months later. so we bought another one and 3months later stopped working (charging). the awesome part is they asked a few questions then sent me a RMA # and a shipping label. we got it back and my son is ecstatic ... show more

I bought this as a cheaper alternative to my older Bose Mini Bluetooth speaker. The price is good and I like the "all weather" aspect of it. Sounds pretty good at low to medium volumes. Great portable wireless speaker. Great price point. Perfect size you can take anywhere. The sound quality is great for the size of the speaker. Its quite clear and loud. Its so easy to connect it to your phone too. Also, you can use choose to turn on the strobing lights with just a button. I like that the charging input is covered when not charging. A lot of the portable wireless speakers I looked at did not have this option. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I haven't tested the battery life of it yet. I was greatly disappointed by this speaker. I have several speakers. I was looking for one that was powerful, clear and loud. Also, portable and long battery life. This was neither. The specs say that it has a 50 watts output. Hard to believe and hear. The sound was poor quality. The higher the volume, the more static and garbled it sounds. Such a disappointment. My home surround sound is from Altec Lansing and I had very high hopes that this would be the last speaker I would have to purchase.
