Fits as Euro size stated. I typically wear a 40 1/2 EU but ordered a 41. US size says 7 1/2 but fits exactly like my size 8 boots. Fit is fantastic and buttery smooth inside. Velcro and zippers seem heavy duty enough, but I'll be using them on the street and occasionally on the track. If you're constantly using them to race, I can see the zippers potentially dying on you as they're not as beefy as I would expect for track duty only. For mixed riding I can see getting quite a few seasons out of them with ease. Very soft and comfortable but will require a good break in period. Airflow is decent enough while moving, but stuffy if you're not. But that should be expected will full leather boots. ... show more

    • Alpinestars makes the best stuff
I wear a men’s 13 us and the size 48 fits me perfectly. These are very comfortable and I feel safe with them. I have muscular calves and they are tough to zip fully sometimes. I feel that as they break in more it will get easier.

I got these boots for extra protection while canyon carving, stepping up from the Dianese Street biker air shoes I commute to work in. These boots seem strong and sturdy and are still amazingly comfortable. They really fall into their own when you wear them on the bike. They are a little hot, which is to be expected in a leather boot, but the venting is amazing. Just a little bit of airflow while moving is all you need to keep your feet cool and comfortable. As far as fitment goes, I had to order one size down from my normal shoe size. I wear a size 43 climbing shoe, which are supposed to fit really tight, and a 42 fit perfectly. I got the White/black/red version and I have to say the red color is very bright. Its very fluorescent and looks almost orange. Does not match the rest of the white/black/red Alpinestars gear I have. The fluoro has grown on me, but I was originally disappointed it didn't match. ... show more

    • Unparalleled Comfort and Protection
I couldn't be happier with them! Initially, I had concerns about them being restrictive and uncomfortable, but to my surprise, they are incredibly comfortable. I can walk around in them for hours with no discomfort whatsoever. The inside padding feels like walking on a cloud. The fit is spot-on, aligning perfectly with US sizes. I feel extremely safe wearing these boots, although I wish there was a bit more ankle protection from tilting side to side. Nonetheless, it's not a major issue. The airflow is decent for a boot, and the soles provide excellent grip on the pegs without any sliding. Overall, I absolutely love these boots and highly recommend them. ... show more

This is just about the last pair of the v2 out there. I am very pleased with them but it's December so haven't been out with they yet. My last pair of Alpinestars lasted over 10 yrs. Only thing to watch for is sizing. I usually wear a size 45 (10½-size of my previous boots) but my last ones were a bit to tight. I elected to go up to a size 46 and i'm glad i did. If you have larger feet and are looking for motorcycle boots, and specifically more street sport bike type boots, these fit nicely. I have 13 EEEE feet and the journey to find comfortable boots has been REAL. I reached out to AlpineStars and they assured me that many of their boots and shoes had a wide toebox. These boots are comfortable, easy to get on & off, and provide much needed protection for track & street. These Alpinestar boots are also very lite.
