I REALLY love this fountain! Easy setup (but know you need 2 outlets to accommodate both the pump and lights), fairly easy to maneuver and fill. Lights look great - though I'd like to find bulbs that are more natural looking, these look a bit fluorescent. The fountain has a great sound though I am still messing with it a bit...I'd like it flow a little slower, more like a small stream sound instead of a river but it's totally lovely. We love the unit. It looks great. Not hard to setup. The cords are long enough to allow easy placement. Unfortunately we were not able to run it very long. When we turned it on for the first time the product had a leak. Upon examination it was caused by a crack along outer surface at the bottom of the unit. It looked to have been hit by something. We called the customer service number on a Friday afternoon and a live person answered very quickly. She asked a few questions got the necessary information. She emailed me immediately with what they needed from us to process the claim. I sent the information requested and got a reply soon after. A few emails later we were told a replacement unit would be shipped and we could keep the original one for spare parts. Whole process including my time took about 45 minutes to complete Most companies are apologetic when there is an issue with their product but I believe Alpine truly means it. Thank You Alpine for excellent customer support. UPDATE: 10/6/23 The replacement unit arrived to today. Installed an running with NO LEAKS... ... show more

Overall, it is a great fountain. I have it on the back deck and the flowing water sound is exactly what I was looking for. There is some water that splashes out of the fountain, so you need to use it outside or have something to catch the water. I have the LED lights on a timer and they really look great, once it gets dark. The submersible pump started tripping the breaker after about 3 months. The pump should last longer than 3 months, but Alpine warranty took care of a replacement pump, at no cost. The warranty service responded back in a couple of hours, after I emailed the warranty claim. ... show more

I love that it looks just like a real tree stump. The lights and sound of the water is so nice. You do need to buy some cleaner to add to the water to keep it clean.

This fountain is really cool and was easy to set up. The lights look cool at night. And it's loud enough to be soothing and enjoyable when the water falls but not irritating. Literally my only complaint is that the base is not quite level so you might have to do some leveling on the ground. Exactly what we hoped for! ... show more

This may be one of the pricier indoor/outdoor fountains for sale on Amazon, but it is also one of the largest & tallest & has a perfect natural look to it. It is very well made and the setup couldn't be easier (just plug it in!) Of course, you could also buy one of those solar battery conversion kits, but we don't get enough sunshine here every day to keep it charged properly. The only extra thing you might need for this is a long extension cord. I love the way it is painted. It's extremely realistic looking, right down to the fake fuzzy green moss around the pools (so don't ever scrub at it if you choose to clean it). Including the top where the water initially comes from, there are 5 "pools," and the bottom 3 are lighted as long as it's turned on. I've never noticed any splash-back from it, so it would work well inside your home, too. All in all, it's truly beautiful and I love it. Don't forget to buy some Fountain Fresh pods (Smart Living brand). They are a safe and non-toxic (to birds and pets) water clarifier/puifier that you add once a month (they are like small laundry or dishwasher pods)---Just a suggestion. If you use these pods, cleaning will be minimal or unnecessary. ... show more

This Fountain is Magical! My wife and I love the comforting, soothing sound and the tree like feature design. We have the fountain in our living room because we wanted to have it close, so we could hear the water flowing down the basins. There is no splash back, so carpet stays dry. We had an issue with the pump, but Alpine resolved it with courtesy and professional service. I’ve purchased 3 different fountains in the past few years. This is definitely the best overall. Besides plugging in the lights and connecting the pump, there was minimal setup required. The 3 LED lights are really bright, which make the fountain even more beautiful at night. Visually the water flow is good with minimal splash - I add water about once per week. Noise from the water is moderate - Could be a bit louder. I don’t hear any pump noise at all. I definitely recommend this fountain! - Update: Major leak after only 3 months! Not sure what to do at this point. ... show more
