The fountain itself is very nice -- beautiful to look at, well-made, and distinctive. It is working perfectly and was easy to set up. Having the LED lights is also a great feature, so it's pretty to see in the dark too. We set it up on top of a small goldfish "pond" (plastic tub) -- see the photo -- to enhance the overall appearance. We're very happy with the product; my wife really loves it. However, I must warn you: the fountain comes in a large box, in one single piece (which is nice actually) packed in a few large pieces of styrofoam -- DO NOT try to break up the styrofoam pieces as I did; you will regret it. In my environmentally responsible city, they will pick up and recycle or dispose of styrofoam if broken into small pieces and placed in a large plastic bag. I tried to do that, but this particular kind of styrofoam breaks into tiny little particles (see the photo of some of it inside the trash bag) which float in the air and make a gigantic mess all over the place. I spent over an hour of extreme aggravation cleaning it all up. I wish I had just dumped the whole thing in a dumpster, still in the box. Sorry environment, but that was just ridiculous. That's why four stars instead of five. Please, Alpine -- pack the thing in something else.

The fountain is stunning but it arrived without a pump and light transformer. The manufacturer shipped out the missing parts in just a few days and we're up and running. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. I picked this for the style and size. Very pleased. Using inside. Very very little splash when flow is set to minimum which is what I prefer anyway. Mine was a bit damaged upon arrival but it was cosmetic and on the back so doesn’t show. A little pricey but what I wanted after adding your personal touches. I already have a spare pump on hand. The lights are a little bright so I don’t plug them all in.

Waterfall was damaged, unpacking waterfall wife excited and ready to put up in garden, we started filling with water and it leaked out we noticed hole and cracks tried to repair but no go. Can we get this replaced? I don’t have the box it came in.

I love water fountains and already have several in my yard. I wanted something for my front porch that was nice size, but not overwhelming. So, when this product became available, I ordered it. Here is what I found: 1. From the picture online, this looked very open and I was not sure I would like it. The reality is that when viewed head on at the same level as the unit, you see the passages, but when you are standing up and looking at it you do not. So, it has a very deep feel to it and yet as you approach from the sidewalk it looks more natural. 2. There is a removable cover on the back that you rotate a quarter turn to close or open and you can actually attach the pump and then pass it into the unit! The lights connect to their own transformer and the cord also runs out of this cover. Makes a VERY clean installation!!!! 3.This holds about 5 gallons of water which is plenty to keep this running in 100 degree weather for several days!! The water makes a good sound that is relaxing but does NOT splash water out. so, you could use it indoors too all though I would still put a protector on your floor, just in case!! This is a very reasonably priced fountain that has good size, looks great, is well designed, and appears to be of superior quality. Do not believe me, go look in some garden stores and box stores. This one wins hands down. I would recommend this if you have need for it.

I have fountains all over the dang place, my wife thinks I’m nuts but I just can’t get enough falling water sound. Nothing better than a cold adult beverage on a warm summer night in the backyard next to the koi pond and 3 water fountains!! I stand by my falling water claim. It eases the mind and relaxes the heck out of me!! This is my third water feature from Alpine and so far they all have been working great and look great too. I do have one fountain where the paint some what rubbed off in one spot but I’m hoping it was just a fluke.

I really have nothing bad to say about this fountain. It works and looks great. It is a corded fountain, which is a good thing since you’re not limited to battery power that will only operate part of the day. The one drawback, of course, is that it needs to be somewhere near an outlet. The sound of the water combined with the lighting makes for a relaxing moment and good energy. The resin will hold up nicely indoors or out. Recommend.
