Although the fountain is beautiful and easy to assemble, it clogs very easy…daily in fact. Mostly with pollen, tree debris that is tiny enough to clog the tube. It is a design flaw. There needs to be a mesh cover over the water so that debris cannot enter. Everyday, I have to disassemble it, flush out the tube with force by using a special syringe. If I don’t, I fear the motor will burn up. I want it to work so bad because it is super cute, but buyer beware. ... show more

This "fountain" does not work. Too many things wrong with it. 1. The metal is all bent out of shape and does not sit level in the basket. 2. the cups hang at an angle (tried three different surfaces) and cannot be straightened to do so. 3. The pump is not the pump referred to in the manual. It is a cheap pump with no power (water cannot be pulled up into the piping to get to the top cup). In the manual, it says to adjust the power level switch by moving it to the left....there is NO power switch on this pump. Do not waste your money or time...you will only become frustrated and spend more time returning. ... show more

Bought this as a gift for my parents. They liked it, but it does lean to one side so the water doesn't flow smoothly down the chain of cups. It looks good on their front porch, though.

I do like it, with the exception of the poor color match (a can of spray paint will fix that), the pump is pretty aggressive and loud (turn it all the way down) and the little sponges get gross and need to be washed out frequently. The pump could be gentler. The sound reminds me of a cow releasing water on a flat rock. I tried different things in the cups until it sounded better. I was hoping it would sound more like a rain chain...gentle tones, more chii. Otherwise its probably great. Check water every few days or pump motor will sound horrible. ... show more
