This fountain will be small enough to sit on the corner of a wide porch railing so I can see it from the kitchen window but I was pleasantly surprised by it also being a little bit bigger than I had envisioned. It came exactly on time and in perfect condition. Attaching the water hoses to the legs took a minute for an old lady like me, but then it was easy to position the pump in the tub, adjust the water flow, put the screen in the tub and fill with about 2 gallons of water. This is the absolute cutest fountain, but it's a lot of work. The opening is large, so it catches a lot of debris, which clogs the filter. It's constant unplugging, cleaning, and water changes. Additionally, different areas on this fountain began rusting within 2-3 days of use. Placing in a covered area would work best for this one or maybe a screen. I lined the bottom of mine with flat rock and river rock. One might try sealing with a small liner for easier times and to save time. ... show more

Every old crow thinks hers is blackest! Alpine Corporation must have had this idiom in mind when they made this table water fountain. It's absolutely darling! I can't get enough of it and can't wait to show mine off. I can't wait for company to arrive to see mine out in my garden this Mother's Day. It is going to be the highlight for sure. I am hoping I can come back and add a photo to my review soon. I had one tiny problem with the pump but it was quickly rectified when I phoned Alpine customer service. They were on it in minutes. I'm glad I made that call instead of trying to package up the whole thing and trying to explain to Amazon. This was a super easy and stress free fix! If you do need help you must look up Alpine Corporation yourself as Amazon has the wrong number listed. They have an Alpine Industry listed and that is a complete wrong company and number. Alpine Industry is in California folks.. so google the number there. They are a great company with fantastic customer service. ... show more

My husband got this for my birthday to enjoy in my garden. It's very fun and unique, but came with a couple of problems. Nothing major by any means. First, the crow with the round hat has two right wings! So one was put on backwards and his feathers face forward instead of back. A quality control issue. Second, the wash basin leaks. Again, nothing major but inconvenient. It's leaking thru the seam in front. Hubs is going to run a bead of silicone to stop that. Third, the round hat crow is the one with the intermittent stream and his bill clicks real hard when it closes making a clacking sound. Kind of overwhelms the sound of the water. When examined closely it appears that the beak had a bend in it. A pair of pliers later and he's much quieter. And last, the splash screen arrived with a hole in it. After 3 days in water it's starting to rust. Other than these couple of quality control issues, I love my silly crows!! ... show more

This adorable fountain arrived with the box split open but on time. The fountain looks exactly as I had hoped and was super simple to assemble. I loved it from the moment I took it out of the box. Once it was full and plugged in, worked instantly and timing was on point. Then a tiny drip from the bottom of the pan. Then bigger drips then I had to unplug. By morning all the water had leaked out under the bottom pan. Sooooooooooo super disappointing!!!! However! The amazing amazon to the rescue allowed me to have a replacement with the option of returning with feee pick up. Please oh please let the next one work!!!! I will update my review to a five if it does. Otherwise I have to leave two for broken and not working for intended purposes. UPDATE. received the new one and good news the tank does not leak. Bad news the birds do not function correctly. Water just streams from one and the other the water flows backwards into the body then drops all over the back of the tank. Neither open and close beaks with water. Maybe I should have kept the first one and just tried to seal it. Why can’t things just work as advertised? Update again Okay after trying to adjust the pump the screws the water level the beaks and nothing but frustration. I realized I just needed to use gravity. So I tightened the screw back and set the pump at a slight slant and bent the birds legs just right. You can’t even tell and it works like a charm. Love it again. ... show more

I have never saw a fountain that uses 2 water driven ravens to push out the water. Very nice sound and great to watch. Very easy to assemble.
