    • NO RETURNS. BE SURE YOU WANT TO BUY BEFORE YOU ORDER
First, my RV setup: I have 240 watts of solar panels, a EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller 40A 150V PV Solar Controller (EXCELLENT-Amazon) a GoWISE Power 2000W Pure Sine Wave 12v DC Power Inverter (GOOD - Amazon), & 100Ah led acid batteries (two 6 volt). The good: The refrig cooled to 6F in freezer part within 3 hours. After running all night at 36F refrig side, my batteries still had 12.3V of power in the morning. During the day running the refrigerator had no noticeable impact on my batteries. The compressor running during the day was not very noticible. The mediocre. The refrig compressor seemed to cycle on every 11 minutes, & compressor ran for 15 minutes, all night long. The unit seems poorly insulated. Conclusion. I would still keep it even if it could be returned (NO RETURNS). I need it & it's adequate. I always expected I would have to further insulate it. I may just turn it off at night, & see how that works. Don't expect it to work off of a car battery & have any charge left in the morning. ... show more

We took the refrigerator on a 12 day off the grid camping trip. The refrigerator worked great. We did have one major problem, the 12 volt plug kept popping out. The other small problem was the temperature swing of 6 degrees, this didn't cause any problems. The refrigerator stayed cold.

I've been using this fridge for a couple of months now and I am in love. I bought the insulating sleeve for energy efficiency and it's connected to a power supplier (Jackery 1000W, charged by my car) and this set up has been just amazing. I've been to the desert for a week and not having to deal with ice has been a lifesaver. Good energy efficiency (the thermal insulator - add on - helps and is a must IMO). Also I've been using it for regular groceries and it's just great. Very spacious inside, can fit food and drinks. I'm currently camping in the mountains and it's still my best friend! ... show more

The hatch lid broke down with the first open. Very poor quality. No LG sticker and Alpicool logo sticker is peeling off right out of the box. Is it real product?

This my second purchase because the first seemed to be doing well...until it started making a loud buzzing sound when running, this one however has had very little use and simply refuses to cool below 40 degrees when it is set for 25, good money was spent and results of both have been very dissapointing. Also the freezer section only freezes the top 6 inches while the bottom half becomes a soggy mess, looks like only part of the cooling element is working...Will see what can be done. Unfortunately Support is a joke, their answers are from a script and do not respond to my simple questions, ultimately I just wanted to be sure they understood the problem and could show me on there end that the replacement was working properly before they sent it....even after sending pictures they didn't answer the simple question.....that is a huge problem when support is in China. BUYER BEWARE! Support couldn't get anything right, they dragged it out beyond Amazons AtoZ return process and the continue to play dumb, they LOOSE, will never even Consider another Alpicool product again! I did get a refund after a very long back and forth by email and they claiming to have an engineer to look it over ( Which they clearly did not have) since no diagnosis or teardown was ever done, just give him a refund and who cares. Before you buy ANY M.I.C. product FORGET THE REVIEWS ( they are massivley skewed to positive) go to youtube and check out user videos which is where I saw my problem was NOT an isolated problem. ... show more
