Ok, I know what you're thinking....$390 for a toilet seat that washes your rear?? Who in their right mind.....? This purchase convinced me to get an Amazon credit card for the $150 or whatever discount off your purchase, and I've never looked back. I can't even use the toilet at work anymore, wiping like some kind of neanderthal savage.... I originally first used a bidet at a friend's house 2 years ago. It was the kitchen sink sprayer style that clips on to the side of the toilet tank. You lean to one side and spray, which seems to me would just get poop particles everywhere. I went home after that and bought one of the cheapo $25 basic bidets with the manual controls on the right side. Besides the ridiculously strong cold water spray that felt like I was prepping for a colonoscopy, it was ok. I used that for about 6 months. Then I saw this Alpha. It was like a revelation from the baby Jesus. Initially I balked at the price, $390 is almost enough to buy a new Xbox series X. Or make a car payment. Or a new iPad. Maybe a new Weber smoker. But, thanks to a few glasses of Bourbon, as with all my impulse purchases, plus the fact I could apply for the Amazon CC and get a big discount, I pulled the trigger and WOW. This thing is like the SpaceX Falcon Rocket of bidets. What a beautiful piece of equipment. The seat warms up when you sit on it. The water jet is warm and just the right pressure. There's a blow dry function. There's an LED light. It's self cleaning. There's a remote control that comes with a holder you can mount on the wall. The installation was super easy. I've told epic stories to everyone I can about the marvels of this bidet, so much that I should be a salesperson for them. This kind of technology makes me believe we will get to Mars sooner than later. Climate change will be stopped in it's tracks.     • Worth the money!

I had a Brondell eco swash that had the knob break after a year and a half of light usage (yep, it broke in the on position as the water was running because it was cheap plastic). So, I decided to upgrade. This one comes with a 3 year warranty which spoke volumes to me. So far I’m in love and never want to use a bathroom anywhere else ever again. The stream is comfortable, the water temp and heated seats are great. I do have to adjust how I sit just a little for the front nozzle, but that’s no problem for me. The nightlight is helpful and the installation was much easier than the Brondell bidet. I love having a convenient remote control vs cheap knobs that break while in the on position. The only thing is that the dry function is pretty weak but again, not a big deal breaker for me. All in all I am very very happy with this bidet and will update this review if anything changes. But so far I am thoroughly impressed and highly recommend it. ... show more

I’m two weeks into using this model and Wow! This is my second mountable bidet. My first was a no-frills cold-water injection to the posterior. Not very pleasant. However, this Alpha Bidet is absolutely perfect. Adjustable warm-hot water from start to finish. Adjustable pressure, temperature, and positioning. AND the adjustments are instant. If the water is too hot or cold, one touch of the button and it instantly changes. The only thing that would make it better for me personally would be to switch to an elongated toilet and install the version that accommodates those longer toilets that most men prefer. But my spouse likes the round bowl types. It still works just fine for me, I would just like an open front. We must have our septic system serviced every 3 years ($400) because of all the toilet paper used by our five household users. Take away 90% of the paper usage and the septic clean outs could go to 8-10 years. So, installing a bidet on every toilet in a septic system pays for itself in no time at all. We have used Coco bidets for years. I was disappointed to discover that they were out of business because we needed to replace a broken one. There were two Alphas recommended by various sites. The most basic was half the price we'd previously paid the Coco. The Alpha has a smooth appearance with a lid that appears much less delicate than the Coco. Installation was easy - just hooked up to existing set up used for the Coco. What I like about the Alpha is the response speed. The water is there immediately. As with the Coco we do not use a lot of the features. When the basics work well and do the job, we're happy. I am happy to have a good looking, well constructed and practical washlet seat for a fraction of what I've paid in the past. ... show more

Got this for my wife’s birthday, she’s been wanting one of these for years. There’s every control available including seat warmmer, nightlight, water temp and aim controls. I was able to install it myself with the small hiccup of some leaking. I fixed it easily with a new rubber washer in the connectors. I personally am not a bidet person but she is thrilled. My only attempt left me horrified but to each their own. At least it doesn’t turn on automatically because I would run screaming. 😁👍🏽 I love the seat warmer though. Happy bidet-ing! ... show more

Compared to the Brondell I had before this, the design and quality is higher. I decided to switch after 2 leaks, a broken seat sensor, wash tubes that didn't extend, and icing on the cake, a burning smell. 😬 The Alpha starts faster, cleans better with less washing, and is slightly less taller in design. The easy wash and wash and dry is "1 button and done" which I was skeptical but it works great for me. The instructions were clear and it took me an hour to install as I was taking my time and I am not handy. For the lock plate, I clicked in the seat and just kept the bolts loose until I could slide the seat where I wanted it, then tightened them. Easy peesy. Not sure why they don't recommend that in the instructions. ... show more
