This is a wonderful feeling foundation. It spreads well, blends well, and covers slight freckles and blemishes but I chose what I believed to be the lightest color, buff, and it's still too dark... : ( Can anyone tell me if ivory is any lighter? Okay, Update: I bought Ivory and I must take this up a notch from 4 stars to 5. The feel on my skin is fantastic, considering (I am naturally super oily and in all fairness I have NOT found a makeup that can deal), it sinks into my skin nicely, it covers well for me. What makes it cover well for me? I have light (sometimes ghostly where people beg me to get some sunlight) skin. Aforementioned, I have oily skin and very few wrinkles. I don't have pockmarks although I do get acne. My acne varies between whiteheads to downright cystic acne. There's not much you can do to cover cystic acne; they're not selling miracle in a bottle. It does cover whiteheads to the point where they are at least your skin tone. I am an avid user of retin-A so scarring and the dark coloration goes away quickly. I do not believe that if you have significant darkening from acne that this will be the product for you. For THIS issue I would strongly suggest Bare Minerals; I believe that they are calling themselves "Bare Essentials" now. It's that mineral makeup. Get the summer bisque concealer (if you are fair toned) and you WILL be covered. The main reason that I don't use this mineral makeup is that I don't require that kind of coverage and it appears to exacerbate my oily skin. The makeup itself is almost impossible to wash off (at least that was the old formula I don't know what it is like now) so it's a great go to makeup if you plan to sweat. Also a little moisture blends it in better. In fact, it is suggested that you spritz your face with water and blend in for a more natural look. NOW BACK TO THIS MAKEUP.... : ) This is a fantastic makeup if you have acne but acne that doesn't leave much scarring or dark spots. I would consider this a medium coverage makeup. Lastly, I would not recommend for dry skin especially if you are concerned about makeup that makes fine lines more noticable.

Es una base de buena cobertura , suave y duradera aún en el caribe ( Santo Domingo ). Decía paquete de 2 y solo llegó un solo frasco. Las 4 estrella es a la base, no así al vendedor,dice que es vendido por Amazon, al momento de hacer la compra, en la página de Amazon dice, paquete de 2, solo llegó 1, no voy a devolver porque tendría que hacer una devolución internacional ( vivo en santo Domingo ) Pero no volvería a compra ese producto, a este vendedor ( Amazon ) lo oportuno es que envíen el producto faltante, y la única opción mostrada es la devolución , no la compensación del producto faltante.

I have used this foundation for probably 20 years. It doesn't bother my skin at all, and it doesn't run, ever. I can be dripping wet from swimming or a hot, sweaty bike ride, or crying my eyes out, and I don't have to worry about it stayng put. (However, I am careful to avoid rubbing it and only dab with a towel or tissue when absolutely necessary.) I used to blend two different colors, but the Sand color was updated several years ago and is now a perfect match for me. It's easy to apply as long as you do a small area at a time; if you dab dots all over your face, they will dry before you get a chance to blend them. A makeup remover is needed to take it off; I use the Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover to remove both this foundation and my Almay waterproof mascara. Revlon - please don't ever discontinue this makeup or this color!

I have no idea why my local CVS stopped carrying this. I've heard Revlon bought out Almay (?), so maybe that has something to do with it, not sure. I've used it for years, it's the ONLY make up that doesn't make my skin break out or get hot from a reaction or look oily or look flakey. I love the neutral color - my skin is fair (not pale) with pinkish undertones, so light or cool colors tend to look like clown makeup on me and medium or warm colors look like I have paint on my face. The neutral is just right. The makeup is fairly sheer, so it looks more natural, but you can layer in spots if you have broken capillaries or breakouts. (I would say it's not the best if you need a heavier cover up, but it works for light cover up.) In addition to having sensitive skin, I have combination skin, so it gets oily patches AND flaky patches occasionally, but this makeup doesn't emphasize or exacerbate either problem. (Looks best if you apply it when you've freshly washed and moisturized.) In spite of all of my skin issues (now add aging to the mix), I get a LOT of compliments on my complexion, so from that I'm guessing the makeup is sheer enough to look natural but pigmented enough to smooth any imperfections. The only thing I'm bummed about is that it used to have an SPF rating, and it doesn't anymore. I think I read that the SPF factor (15) was no longer considered high enough to qualify for a rating label, but I'm not sure how accurate that is. The whole reason I started wearing it was because I wanted something that was like a tinted sunscreen but for sensitive skin. I hope they keep this product going, I don't know what else I would be able to use...!
