This goes on smooth & doesn't dry my skin out. It has great coverage without being too cakey. The only thing I'd say is this particular shade has too much orange/peach tone in it & there is really no in between in the other shade choices to remedy that.

After reading the reviews I thought it's either this line of Almay foundation or the one with the light green cap. I have cystic acne and I am pushing 40. My skin is Mediterranean in nature but mixed with many ethnicities. I was concerned that the shade I picked would be too light but it's a perfect winter shade. Despite my skins oil, I did notice that the foundation does have a bit of a flake effect. No big deal, I just used setting spray yesterday and today on day two, I used moisturizer. My skin wasn't completely without oil at the end of the day but WOW I do have to say that my skin does look more flawless. I still have some visible acne scarring on my neck from my cystic acne but the coverage did lighten it. Overall I am impressed. I've never used Almay skin products. I don't seem to have any new acne ( day two of use) . It does seem to stay on except when I blow my nose (underneath the nose, the foundation wipes off a bit) but again no big deal for me.
