I bought this to take off my eye makeup , and it works great, it just burns a little, so now I will go back to simple baby oil to remove my waterproof makeup, which does not burn, and does the job efficiently.

I use Bobbi Brown's longwear eye shadows and smoky mascara. This product has no scent and doesn't leave an excessive oily residue behind. It takes a little effort to remove the mascara which is not waterproof, but I just use an additional cotton pad or am able to remove the rest when washing the rest of my face with cleanser. I won’t buy this again. To get my makeup off I have to rub too much. The solution doesn’t moisturize or allow the cotton ball or pad to glide over my eyelid.

Almay products are always true to their description and this item is no exception. I have sensitive skin around the eyes and it takes off the eye makeup better than the $50 plus products. It is not oily nor does it leave a residue or burn. I will purchase again.

My go to waterproof mascara remover was always Neutrogena's oil free eye makeup remover. I decided to see what else was out there and maybe find a cheaper go to. I gave this a try every night for 3 days (since I wore waterproof mascara for those 3 days). The first night I used it I happened to accidentally get some in my eye and my eyes started burning. Neutrogena has never made my eyes burn. The second night I noticed above my right eyes eyelashes I was getting mild redness and inflammation. Unsure of what was causing it I decided to try the remover a 3rd night and it just made it worse. The next morning my eye was swollen and flaky patches started to appear. As far as removing my mascara I did have to spend a little more time wiping my eyelashes with my eye pads that I use more than I did with Neutrogena's product. I am just writing about what has personally happened to me. So if you have sensitive skin I would steer away from this product. I have switched back to Neutrogena's product and my eyelid has gone back to normal. If it ain't broken then why fix it. I will never be switching to anything else ever again. 1/10 would not recommend. ... show more
