I recently had to discontinue using my go-to mascara that I've used for years because it was waterproof and because of some eye issues on my part, no fault of the mascara itself. I googled a list of mascaras to try that would maybe not aggravate my eye issues and Almay was on the list. So I ordered one tube to try and it seems to be fine. No eye irritation or itching and easier to remove than the waterproof brand. It goes on easily and my lashes are just as long as with my previous mascara. I have already ordered a second tube. The only truly Hypoallergenic Mascara I have ever used. Even the expensive brand names in Department stores that give you make up tips and how to apply it, are supposed to work on anyone who has allergies, but that made me itch 7 & have runny eyes, terribly and I had to take it off shortly after. I tried a few others also, but recently found Almay online and it works just like it is supposed to! It does NOT cause my eyes to run, itch, hurt at all! Eyes developed stye and or overall itchy reaction to the last mascara’s I have used particularly on the bottom lash line so I ended up here. I will say that my natural lashes are already a bit long so this mascara is more to make them pop and trial if it would work well for my sensitivity, I prefer volume building mascara typically. I did attach how the mascara can look when you build it up alongside with creative makeup so you can see it at it’s full potential on already longish lashes. Pros: -Buildable length and volume (can clump a little) -Did not irritate my eyes and I have been using it for over 2 months 🥳 -Good amount of pop, if you want a more natural look, this is easy to obtain with this mascara Cons: -No waterproof option( held up ok with some tearing) -Not voluminous enough for me (can be achieved with building!) ... show more

This is just going to add some color to your lashes, it doesn’t make them longer or fuller. However, it is non-irritating if you have eye issues.

The fact that this mascara is hypoallergenic is a plus for me. Also- Almay mascara truly gives the volume and sparkle to my lashes. I have tried other products, but return to this one for a brightening effect around the eyes.
