I have used this brand and color of eyeliner for several years on my hazel to green eyes and love the slightly metallic effect of the copper shade and the ease of application and durability. It does not flake, is fluid enough to apply without creases on my mature eyes, And remains waterproof until I remove it with make up remover wipes. This is a great product as it is gentle on your eyes, the applicator tip is a soft foam, so there are no brush bristles that will splay out overtime. It has a mixing bead in the bottle so that you can easily shake it up to keep the formula mixed and apply the product to the applicator between uses. I highly recommend trying this if you are a first time user.

It used to be called "Amazing i-Liner". I've tried other eyeliners over the years in a genuine effort to move on from this product, but they don't seem to do it for me like this does. I do believe the formula has changed, as it does take reapplication of the eyeliner to get an opaque look. While it's labeled hypoallergenic and no doubt it is, I notice fresh bottles tend to sting but leave no irritation on the skin. The applicator tip also is pretty stiff at first but once you break it in — it does work beautifully. Here's why I've kept buying this eyeliner for over 20 years: 1. A true matte finish. I've purchased "matte" eyeliners that have end up having a semi-gloss finish, or a weird sticky flakey texture. My theory is because these products attempt to waterproof the formula which sacrifice that flat matte finish. While unfortunately this Almay eyeliner isn't waterproof and therefore not smudgeproof — there's nothing a little finishing spray or eyeshadow primer can't do. I've used both with great results during swimming and gym workouts. In my opinion, I love the true matte black and don't mind it doesn't have those other properties built into to it. 2. A fantastic felt tip applicator. Something about the shape, material, length, and absorbency of this applicator works perfectly for my hooded eyelids. There are $20+ high-end eyeliners that just don't get right what this $7 drugstore eyeliner can do. Some felt tips are too long and therefore hard to control, some are a thin brush which doesn't hold as much product in one swipe. If you want to avoid breaking in the felt tip and the roughness that comes at first, I recommend just squeezing the felt tip between your fingers and gently bend it around to soften it a bit more. 3. A long-lasting amount of product. You'd be surprised how long that little "ink well" of eyeliner can last you! Usually the felt tip applicator is the first to go (after a long while of usage) before you actually run out of product. I like that Almay has kept this element of their eyeliner consistent over the years. Those are my 2 cents. Definitely will continue to buy this for years to come. :)

I was missing two so they had to send me two more but when I used them they’re not what expected so do not I repeat do not buy these not worth it the point is no point and it’s hard when you apply not worth the money nor your time. And I am telling you this respectfully!

I love the staying power of this eyeliner and I've bought it over and over. I've got greasy eyelids and work 12-hour shifts- so my eye make up needs to last 13 hours or so AND be able to stand up to my oil, plus hot and sweaty conditions sometimes. Have I mentioned that I’m a nurse? So it’s awesome if I somehow manage to look a little professional too! This little pot of eyeliner never lets me down! It's easy to apply and easy enough to correct with a wet cotton swab for a couple minutes after application. After that, well, you’re going to have to take it off and start over I think. This eyeliner isn’t perfect and doesn’t quite make it the whole 13 hours sometimes. Sometimes I’ll get home and notice that I’ve dragged a bit of eyeliner down my face and occasionally I notice that one eye has a bit less than the other. However, I’ve never found another eyeliner that gets closer to what I need, and I’ve tried plenty. This really is a great little eyeliner. I’m taking 1 star off because sometimes my eyelids burn with the initial application and if I wipe off the eyeliner I can see that my eyelid is also bright pink where it was applied. The burning doesn’t last for more than a second or two, and I don’t have further irritation throughout the day. I do an oil cleanser at the end of the day and it comes off easily.

I bought this because I thought it was waterproof as I have auto immune disorders and allergies and my eyes sometimes weep because of either the cold or allergies or whatever and I was hoping this would not run down my face when my eyes tear up but it does it's almost like it's not waterproof I love everything else about it. It's just not waterproof enough for me and it actually does not irritate my eyes so I do recommend it for people have a strong sensitivity to make up as I do. It actually does not irritate my eyes or my skin I just wish it had stronger waterproof functionality . Textures, smooth glides on it could dry a little quicker, but it just doesn't stay on Hope this is helpful

I’ve been using this liquid liner for at least the last 10 years or more and I always get the same one! I’ve tried so many others in between Just to see, but for me, this is the best one! It’s so easy to hold to put it on, and it goes on so clean but still dark. It doesn’t smudge badly by the end of the night. Just the absolute best liquid eyeliner I’ve tried.
