I was searching for an eyeliner to replace one I was using for years (manufacturer discontinued it) that did not irritate my eyes. Most eyeliners dry out my eyes - they immediately start to slightly burn after application, and then I'm profusely blinking all day trying to relieve the dry, burning sensation, which just gets more intense as the day goes on. Thought I'd try this brand. This stuff works great for me! No burning, dryness, or irritation immediately after application, or even hours later. I can wear it for a full day at a time. The color is a rich, solid black after application which I like. The wear experience is a bit soft after time, meaning after 6+ hours of normal wear and tear, sometimes I feel the urge to reapply to redefine a shapely, bold line. The eyeliner is removable with water, but I find that it does stay better / is more resistant to removal (and tears!) than the previous brand I used, so to me I am very pleased with its durability, as it is an improvement compared to what I was used to.

I have sensitive skin and eyes. I used to use this brand and color for many years. I switched to a different brand but the other brand made my eyes water and was bothersome. When I switched back to this, I was very happy they didn't change anything. It stays on all day, easy to remove at the end of the day, definitely hypoallergenic, and goes on smooth. Definitely recommend for those who need hypoallergenic eyeliner.

This is my favorite eyeliner, and I have tried many. For me, it is truly hypoallergenic. It doesn't make my eyes itch or water. I highly recommend Almay if you have allergies and/or sensitive eyes. The black/brown color is just right for me: not too dark, not too light. (I have fair skin and dark brown eyes). This eyeliner is very easy to use. The built it sharpener helps to keep the tip as sharp as you like it. It has a very smooth texture. My local stores don't always have this in stock, so I am glad that it is available quickly through Amazon!
