This product works if it stays it place. I had much difficulty keeping this in place. It slipped up and a few times the velcro came apart. It fit and I am not obese so I don't know why this happened. I have used similar products before.

This is one of the best I have had under clothing as well. The front double acrylic tightens in two stages to allow for a great snug fit. The one point that I feel is excellent is that the front is narrower than the back so that one does not have a 'full body armor' feeling that comes with the tightening of the upper stomach area where the support is not needed. The back has two large strong inserts to hold the full area carefully and very well, allowing great support when bending. It is very well made and very well worth the price and then some. I'm ordering another for my sister as we are both in the landscape business. It arrived quickly, next day, via Prime.

I broke my back 5 years ago and have a high-end, but bulky back brace prescribed by an Orthopedic surgeon. Works great but I can't wear it everywhere. Tried this one and I love it. Easy to wear under clothes and provides enough support for most activities. I'll still use the big one for six hours at a theme park, but this thin one is now my every day, all day back brace.

This back brace was a complete disappointment. The so-called “medical” lumbar pads felt cheap and provided zero support, actually making my lower back pain worse after a few hours. The straps are flimsy, hard to adjust, and dig into the skin. The mesh isn’t breathable at all - after wearing it under a shirt, I was sweaty and uncomfortable. It constantly rides up and never stays in place, so I was readjusting it all day. Honestly, this product feels like it was designed without any real testing. Save your money and look for a brace that actually works.
