Bought the brace to help my back recover from a 4 month bed rest period. It is very comfortable to wear and does have the support i need. The other great thing about it is the supports are in the side and not in the middle of the back allowing you to sit in comfort. I would buy again.

Item arrived quickly and was as described. Mesh material was light weight and cooler than my other braces. (The main reason I bought it.) Problem came because the material was so light it lacked strength to stay upright and bunched up around my waistline. Several times I had to adjust the belt to correct this issue. This is one of the best I have had under clothing as well. The front double acrylic tightens in two stages to allow for a great snug fit. The one point that I feel is excellent is that the front is narrower than the back so that one does not have a 'full body armor' feeling that comes with the tightening of the upper stomach area where the support is not needed. The back has two large strong inserts to hold the full area carefully and very well, allowing great support when bending. It is very well made and very well worth the price and then some. I’m starting this with the fact that I have back issues which lead me to see a chiropractor every 2-3 months. I needed to clean out a OLD detached garage that required a lot of bending, sweeping and lifting. The 1st day I attempted this before getting the back brace, I only lasted about an hour and a half. After purchasing the brace and using it on a brutally hot day, I was able to clean garage for almost 4 hours and I did not have fatigue and lower back pain. By the end of the day, I did have some back pain, but that was an additional three hours later. Generally I feel the urge to sit in between heavy task but using the brace magically preserved this energy. Granted I am in good physically shape, not a gym rat by any lengths but good for 58.     • The Biggest Problem is the Instruction Sheet

I received the back brace and went to try it on. Looking for instructions as to how it should fit, I could find none. Of course, I put it on wrong and it was very uncomfortable. Trying different things, I could not get it to fit properly. I started packing it up to return it, but looking at the floor, I saw a tiny piece of paper that was business card size, that had the instructions. It did not indicate what side was up, so I guessed. Once I put it on the way it was supposed to fit, it was more comfortable. It is a little too wide and sitting with it on is not as comfortable as I would want it. Plus, the hard back brace pieces stick out slightly giving the clothes a little noticeable bump. Still, I think it will be what I need to walk around with more comfort when I go on vacation. ... show more
