This top/cover up (depending on how you are planning to wear it; I got this with the intention to wear it as a top) is gorgeous! The crochet pattern is simple, but interesting, and provides plenty of visual interest. Often, I’ve found that a lot of crochet tops like this one are only available in a small few colors: usually black, white and/or beige. I really appreciated that I had a choice between several colors, and I got the light green. It’s very close to a honeydew green in person, and it’s a really beautiful color. I’m super happy I got the light green- it’s really gorgeous! This top is surprisingly soft, and super comfortable. I wanted mine to be as oversized as possible, so I ordered up. I have very wide hips, so the bottom of this rests on my hips, but everywhere else, it fits very loosely. I’m on the thicker side, so someone skinnier will have even more room in it. While you certainly can wear this over swimwear, I got mine to wear as a top. I love the shorter sleeves- a lot of times these tops are pretty uniform in sleeve length. These types of tops are something that can absolutely get me through a hot summer! I love this top overall. I expected this to be a bit more of a pastel light green based on the photos, but it's still a decent color. The sleeves are definitely longer than expected since the description of the sweater specifically says "Allimy Womens Summer Crochet SHORT SLEEVE Sexy Tops Sweaters for Women..." yet, as you can see in the photos, this is fully a long sleeved top. If you want it to fit as loose and blousy as it does on the model, size up. I ordered based on the size chart, which fit my typical size and it "fits". For reference, I am 5'1" and 130lbs. I'm obsessed with this sweater! I wasn't entirely sure what would show up, since it looks like the first 5 photos are one sweater with slouchy sleeves, and the last photo the sweater looks more fitted with longer sleeves. Well, the actual sweater is sortof a mix between the two. It has regular sleeves, BUT the sleeves are almost shortened to be more like 3/4 length sleeves. I found myself rolling them up to be true 3/4 sleeves. The look is so adorable and perfect for spring or a light summer outfit. I got the light green, and found it true to the website's color. I ordered the medium based on the size chart (I'm normally a US size 8/10), and found it fit nice and loose just like the last photo on the model. This top looks like the picture in the ad. It’s a gamble when ordering online because the photo doesn’t always match what you get in the mail. The material is nice and not cheap looking. It fits great and I would say it’s appropriately priced for what you get.
