A foundation (box spring) is not supposed to be required and without one, a few more slats would be very helpful to make the mattress more stable. ... show more

After reading the reviews, I was worried this bed frame would be hard to put together. It’s not that bad. Some pieces were awkward, and there was one step that I straight up got wrong and had to go back, undo, and reassemble - but that was on me for not noticing two of the parts were supposed to be flipped. There ARE a lot of small steps, but the end result seems worth it. I’m only a week into using this frame, but so far it seems stable. The head board looks nice (it’s not real wood but still nice). And so far anyway, NO noise - which I was worried about. As of now, definitely worth the price point if you want a frame that doesn’t overwhelm your space. Update: 10 months later, and this frame is still great. It's holding up very well, and there's still no noise. Update: 26 months later, and this bed is still doing great. ... show more

My son loves this bed, I love the way it looks in his room! I was really easy to put together and did not take long at all. It is the perfect size for his room. I think it will last along time, it is really sturdy.

Haven’t had the product long enough to do a quality review but putting everything together was a disaster. The screws are too big for the holes, I had to make the holes bigger- therefore stripping it. Some of the holes didn’t line up where they needed to be screwed. Overall, took 5 hours to put together. Once finished, it looks great! Hopefully it won’t be wobbly/squeeky. ... show more
