  • Small

Two kids is a stretch. When I read the 100lb limit I figured I could easily fit one 40 pound boy it. But not even close and had to return. To remain non biased, set up was easy and quality was very good for the price point. The size was a total deal breaker for me. If you’re using it for a toy breed dog or an infant should be fine 🤣 Edit: I ended up getting the co pilot tandem riding trailer for my boy to ride on and because he can pedal and hold onto handlebars like a normal bike I think it promotes more of a learning environment for his own bike riding fundamentals. Look into that as well if you are only towing one kid. ... show more

  • If you’re looking to save money — this is your trailer!
Color: Red
Easy build, easily attached to the bicycle, and easily adjusted should harnesses. Kids complained — it is not comfortable to ride in (zero shock absorption), the straps are for smaller toddlers (like 2-4 at most), and the leg room is not enough space for their little feet. Granted, there is some small storage space in the back — but the seat is right up against it, so your kids will complain about being poked in the back by the bag of snacks during their 3-mile chariot ride to the park. Yes, value for the price is there (it’s inexpensive), but in this instance: inexpensive = cheap. The fabric is thin & the hood cover does not stay on (too tight for the pre-aligned Velcro patches). Would I buy it again? Simply put: nope. Am I content with this intermediary trailer while we determine which one to purchase next? Yep. ... show more

  • Not a trailer for 2 or even 1 kid half the weight limit
Color: Green
This bike trailer was supposed to be for 2 kids and 100 lb weight limit. My almost 4 year old grandson that weighs about 45 lb looked ridiculous. His head touched the ceiling of the trailer and he would have had to sit with his legs crossed as their was no leg room, not to mention to room for a second kid his size or smaller. It was a disappointment. I will be returning the trailer and I'm afraid to order another due to the size issue. ... show more

  • Bang for your buck.
Color: Orange
What the hell does thickness mean? Assembly was unbelievably easy.. forget the directions or tools. This thing is plug and play. Already hooked it up to the bike and took it for a trial run. Seems really sturdy. My 2yr old daughter loves being inside of it. Hooked to the bike super easy. Only downside I see is that I can't imagine having two kids strapped into this at the same time without them being on top of each other. I will make an addendum to this post as soon as I have both of them in it. ... show more

  • We Use It
Color: Orange
It was a good price and I think from when I was looking, one of the trailers that could hold more weight. BUT as my husband tows the kids and I'm behind him, it looks like the tires are starting to bow out. Like, they look crooked and might fall off soon!! I keep forgetting about that and forgetting to check it before we go on a ride. My bad. Then we ride and I'm all - dang... looks like those tires are gonna bust off. Then I laugh. But I suppose it wouldn't be funny if it happened. So maybe after this review I'll go take a look. But ya, so far so good. ... show more

  • Nice for the price!
Color: Red
For the price, this is a really nice trailer. I also have a Burley D’lite trailer, and I’m surprised how much I like this trailer. The Allen Sports trailer is lightweight, folds very flat, and takes up very little space. Sitting next to the Burley it kind of looks like a toy, but it has been solid and stable on our rides so far. My 3 year old daughter is not very tall, but the trailer looks small with her in it. The hitch is easier to connect than the Burley and I really have no complaints about it. The area behind the seat holds a diaper bag and jackets very easily. I was surprised with the amount of trunk space since it really isn’t mentioned in the details or shown in the pictures. I bought the trailer to use during the pandemic so that the burley doesn’t get wrecked by the salted roads in winter. I’ll be moving back to the Burley when the roads are clean, but as mentioned, I have been pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Allen Sports trailer. I was surprised by how narrow the tires are, but it hasn’t been a problem other than my daughter letting me know that she can feel the bumps more. We go out pretty often, so I would definitely get larger tires if this were to be my primary trailer, but for occasional rides at a casual pace this has been fun to take out. ... show more

  • Disappointed in wheel quality
Color: Green
The trailer worked great. However, after using if for a few months, the tire popped (likely something on the road) and the force of the drop broke the wheel (made of plastic). The company doesn't sell wheels to replace the trailer wheels. They are built so that the wheels are very difficult to remove from the axel. The repair took fast more time and effort than most bike repairs. It fits two toddlers comfortably while also providing a storage pocket and staying relatively compact. ... show more
