I grind my own beans fresh and use a percolator. I buy other favorite brands as a change between this shipment. This is one of the best, consistent, full-bodied flavor. I don't notice any acidity. It's even fine to drink black, but I like organic cream and honey in mine.

Different but good!

I was searching for coffee that was organic and shade grown and stumbled across this brand. I love that this company is eco friendly. When I first got my order, I noticed it smelled fresh, but different than what I normally enjoy. I usually go for something on the dark side with notes of chocolate, this seemed more fruity/acidic in smell. When I ground the coffee I noticed it smelled a lot more smooth and it ended up tasting more smooth than I thought. The taste is hard to explain, but it's good! Definitely not super dark, but does have a lot of flavor to it. I will be buying this brand again. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I am kind of a coffee snob, I can't walk into a grocery store and just grab anything. I find lately, I've been having a hard time finding fresh roasted coffee. Some of the stuff on the shelves say it was rosted over 2 months prior. This coffee definitely has a freshly roasted taste! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This makes a good coffee, but for the price.....it's a little expensive. These beans didn't last me a week at $13 for a bag.

I really like this coffee. It's not as strong as I usually drink so I do use a touch more grind, grinder finer, or add a touch of dark with it in my pour over coffee maker. A smidgen of cinnamon (in the cup- not the pour over or it will eventually clog the screen) will perfectly compliment the coffee. The coffee tastes fresh and so far my favorite coffee. The expiration date was within reason. My goal is to only drink certified bird friendly coffee by Smithsonian since it is the only true guarantee I can find that still doesn't clear cut areas within the rain forests.

I honestly admit that this coffee caught me by surprise! I was looking for a new and cheaper alternative to my regular buys. I wasn't sure if it had enough caffeine for me, but I found that it has a balance of smoothness without the acidity as others mentioned, and a very decent level of caffeine for my late night endeavors. Overall A+ in my opinion. FYI, I rarely leave reviews unless the product proves either exceptional of awful, lol. I hope this helps with your decision to buy.

I've been drinking this brand/blend for a long time. It's expensive and packages are small (12 oz I think) but it is a good coffee. I was disappointed to see it was purchased by Amazon. I'm hoping they don't stop making it but my local Whole Foods has stopped carrying it in favor of the "store brand" and has even removed the labeling from the shelves.
