So after looking at a lot of tents, I went with this one and hoped for the best. I must say, it's durability has not disappointed! I would say to be careful - as others suggested - when opening it. It will fly open in a millisecond so be careful and have lots of space around/don't have your face close! This has been on my back deck for months (all winter long in New England). My husband wants to have a smoke and hang out doing so, and I didn't want it in the house, so this was my solution during the snowy, rainy months. It fit a chair and small side table in it comfortably, and his legs could go straight out, but that would be all I recommend in it. As others said - 2 people would be squished; 4 would be only emergency situations! The zipper is holding up and we have had no issues with it! And it gets opened every day. Once you 'unleash' the tent, it was simple to set up. Taking it down... after many months - not so easy and not sure I remember how it was folded up. This was not an issue for me since it was bought to stay open permanently. I think the cost was very fair seeing how it did not tear anywhere (the floor, or the plastic sides or zipper), and the wind slid it across my deck a couple times a few inches (we used the supplied nylon ropes to tie it to bannisters) and it still did not rip the flooring with the metal chair and table in it. All in all, I'm glad I went with this tent and would recommend it again - as long as you're not looking for a huge tent. ... show more

In the opening on the top where it zips, the 2 sides where the zippers come together it does not close completely and it creates an opening where water/rain comes in. We use this at our campground when we have halloween trick or treat and other kid and adult events that we do rain or shine. It works great to sit in to stay dry from the rain and to stay warmer by staying out of the wind... so far we have only used it with the front open.... but has worked great for our needs. ... show more

I opened it simply and it was easy to set up. I didn’t mind the extremely creased plastic all over the entire surface as I set it up inside and gently used a blow dryer to try to heat up the plastic and make it nice and clear. No matter how long I left it set up inside it never became the beautiful clear see-through that I expected despite my best efforts. It’s relatively simple and easy to clip back up and put into the bag to send back. Except it is not designed to fold up to the original small size that it came, so I would not come close to fitting in the box. I originally wondered why the folded tent was in this very large transportation bag when I first opened it and now I realize it fits the tent when it’s folded after a use. I’ve had several of these types of shelters, including Ice Fishing shelters that fold and set up the same way and this is by far the least quality. ... show more
