  • A Smart TV running Fire TV
Size: 65-inch
I have a TV with Fire Stick. I have a TV with Fire TV. I have a TV with Fire TV Cube. The TV with the Fire TV Cube is a Smart TV but the Smart TV features for someone who only uses streaming services over WiFi (No Antenna and No Cable) was not as good as Fire TV. I like Fire TV because I have all my streaming services, and more available, and a format that makes it easy to operate on any of my TVs. The Insignia 65" FireTV is the best. The single remote, Alexa, "my watchlist" works better than any of the previous opetions. The internal operating system is much improved. This TV is in a remote resort location and operates on a 4g signal putting out between 1 mbps and 5 mbps and runs very smooth. I need only one of the 3 HDMI inputs to connect a DVD player. My sound bar connects with one skinny optical wire. Nothing else to do and it was on. Ok Boomer, I connected like a pro! The 4k picture is great. Bought this from Best Buy over Amazon on Prime Day and saved $100. ... show more

  • Not worth the savings.
Size: 65-inch
Big mistake. I’ve never had more problems with an electronic device, and I am not a total idiot at tech stuff. Cable company has come out here twice. Remote control is glitchy. Tech support is clueless. Customer service perfunctory. For one example, when I contacted Insignia about the remote issue, they told me I had to contact Best Buy. When I contacted Best Buy, they said I had to contact Insignia (though I told them I already had) or I had to return the television. Complete runaround. And there were other problems - too many to include here. I would advise anyone to avoid falling for the lower price. It is not worth it. ... show more

  • Not a 4th Gen Device? Pass on this!
Size: 65-inch
I know I only paid less than $500 for a 65" TV, but what I don't get is how a Fire TV released in 2020 cannot be compatible with Home theater? So don't expect to pair this with an echo studio or any other device. Also, the ARC works most of the time, but not always and sometimes sends an off signal in sleep mode. The picture is glary as all H. Do not attempt to watch if you have lights behind you as you will see nothing but the light reflection. The fire OS works fine, and paired easily with the rest of the system. I gave up on the wifi inconsistencies a nd plugged in an ethernet hard wire. Its not the fastest processing TV. Overall for what I paid I guess I'm not surprised, but knowing what I know now, I would have passed on this purchase. ... show more

  • Update review for the 70 inch 2020 insignia fire TV model
Size: 70-inch
I like the big 70 inch screen. Remote control is very easy to use. For an economy TV the picture quality is very good! Sound quality is completely adequate. I purchased this from Best Buy through Amazon so I could get free shipping. got it for under 500 bucks. I included a picture with a 50 inch screen TV hanging above it. I am going to hang this 70 inch one on the wall As soon as I can get someone to help me.. Considering the price and the Big screen this TV is an awesome purchase. I love the built-in Fire TV and Alexa. All the apps work good. I’m not going to compare it to a high-end expensive TV. But for an economy TV It’s well worth it. This is my first insignia TV. I’ve only had it for two days. So far I really like it. I’ll update this review after I’ve had the TV for a while to let people know How It Is holding up,and if I still feel the same way about it. My advice is to wait until the Price drops back down below 500 again before purchasing. At the moment the retail price is $649. Review update...10 Days In and I like this TV more than what I did when I first reviewed it. It’s really awesome! We have watched several 4K Blu-ray movies and they’re just awesome on It! The picture quality is amazing. Especially when you’re factor in the price I paid for this TV. I could not recommend this TV enough. It’s an amazing TV for the price. I have a 60 inch 3-D TV that we don’t use very often. It’s setting below this one. I finally managed to hang This TV by myself. Don’t ask me how? LOL. It wasn’t too bad. Buy this TV, you won’t be disappointed. Update. I've had this TV for over a year. And I still think it's awesome. Because it is. ... show more

  • Don’t waste your time and money
Size: 65-inch
Such a disappointment. We were really excited about this tv but after 2 weeks we’ve decided to return it. The volume is all over the place depending on what input you use (channel, apps, game system, dvd). But what really made us decide to return it was when the tv screen would randomly go black. We have customized the volume settings for sound and attempted several factory resets suggested by insignia for the screen. All have failed. ... show more

  • Good but...
Size: 55 inches
I absolutely love the Fire TV menu over any other TV I've owned, including WebOS from LG. The only problem was that I bought mine without any extended warranty, which was a mistake. My 55" Insignia was an older version, but it only lasted just over a year. The backlights and power supply went out and it would have cost a few hundred dollars to repair. I would have had the repair done, but I was told that they could cause more damage during the repair. Too risky, so it was scrapped. Great TV otherwise. ... show more

  • All LED TV’s are LCD TV’s
Size: 55 inches
The LEDs of an LED TV actually provide the backlighting for an LCD panel, so an LED TV is actually an LCD TV. The difference lies in what is lighting the liquid crystal panel. Unless a previous reviewer has opened the tv and discovered there are, in fact, no LED lights providing back or side light, the marking on the panel describing the television as LCD is perfectly legit. This is not, by any means, an OLED tv which would have a huge difference in contrast ratio and price. I bought the television and my only gripe is the smart features seem to process relatively slowly. Otherwise, it is a nicely featured LED tv for the price. ... show more
