This is a great camera! I got it with a coupon. Definitely worth the price for the security. The camera quality is good. You need a separate mount for it. I’ve been really impressed with this Blink doorbell so far. The camera quality is better than I expected, and it captures everything clearly, even in the long entryway leading up to the door. The notifications have been very accurate too, with smart alerts for people, cars, and other motion. The night vision looks sharp and helps me feel more secure when it's dark outside. I did notice the device has gone offline a couple of times, even though my internet was fine and other devices stayed connected. It came back online pretty quickly both times, so it hasn't been a dealbreaker, just something to keep an eye on. Battery life is advertised as two years. Too early to say if that’s true, but I’m hopeful. I really like the white color. It looks clean and modern at my front door. Setup was super easy. Installation went quickly, and the instructions walked me through everything one step at a time. I’m pretty comfortable with Alexa devices, so that may have helped, but I think anyone could get this up and running without much trouble. I went with the yearly plan for just one device, and it’s all I need. This Blink doorbell does exactly what I want, and it costs a lot less than a Ring. Really happy with the look and the functionality. Overall, I feel much better having this installed. It's a solid upgrade for peace of mind, and the features work well without spending a fortune.

I’ve been testing the Blink Video Doorbell for about a month now, and overall it delivers on its promises. The HD video quality is sharp, providing a full head-to-toe view of visitors or deliveries — which is a nice upgrade from my previous doorbell camera. The night vision works well too, with clear images in low light. The advertised two-year battery life seems plausible based on my usage so far; it’s definitely one less thing to worry about compared to other models I’ve tried. Setup was straightforward once I got the required Sync Module, though I wish it was included in the package for convenience and cost savings. Without it, the initial outlay is a bit higher than expected. The app interface is clean and intuitive, with timely notifications and easy video playback. Motion detection is reliable, with customizable zones that helped reduce false alerts from passing cars. If you already have or don’t mind purchasing the Sync Module separately, this is a solid, user-friendly option with great battery life and video quality.

We’ve had issues with someone (we’re assuming kids) leaving trash in front of our door and in the breezeway of our building. My apartment complex thinks it’s from us (because it’s RIGHT in front of our door) and charged us a $25 trash removal fee with a warning that it’s a lease violation. While talking to management we agreed it would be best to get a camera so we can hopefully catch who it is. The camera arrived quickly and I got it set up as soon as I received the door mount (separate company and purchase). Getting it set up and connected to the app and my wifi was easy, but then getting it to actually work was the hard part. Once put onto the door, the live feed would not load and I would get notifications about movement or people but the recorded clips would not show up in the “clips” section. I spent roughly 3 hours trying to troubleshoot, reboot and reset things, and get ahold of customer support, none of which seemed to work. The customer support lady was less than enthusiastic and sounded thoroughly annoyed the second she answered, reviewed my camera and told me it was probably a connection issue, mentioned something about gigahertz but not what to do about it and how it correlates, and then we ended the call. After moving the sync module to be almost exactly between my door and router (which is located in the bedroom closet), the live feed and clips started working properly. The camera itself is very nice quality and I like the video and audio quality a lot better than some other cameras I’ve had/family have had. I like that you can adjust settings in the app such as audio, video quality, chime, and certain recording settings along with notifications. I’m looking forward to the battery life (an estimated 2 years before switching out the battery) rather than having to charge it every so often like cheaper cameras. You can change the sensitivity on the motion detection, but so far I’ve just left it on default and it works really well. Overall, this camera is nice and I’m looking forward to having some peace of mind about shady neighborhood behavior regarding trash and now I have extra peace of mind about packages too. If your router is located in the living room/close to your door, you shouldn’t have an issue with internet connection like I did. If your router is further from your camera, especially if there’s doors or walls in the way, you’re gonna have to fidget with finding a potential sweet spot before you can get it to work. Otherwise you’ll probably have to get a wifi extender to put between your camera and router, and from the research I did, you’ll need something with 2.4ghz and renaming capabilities since it’ll have to use the same name and password as your wifi for the camera to connect with it. I’m a little disappointed that a higher end $70 camera has such trouble connecting to my router through out my less than 1,000 sqft apartment, and that customer service was useless with an attitude, but I’m just glad I could get it to work.

We have other blink cameras around our house but decided we needed a doorbell camera as well. This camera was so easy to install. We wired it in where our existing doorbell was. The motion detection is great. It will even catch cars driving by. It alerts you if a car, person or doorbell was detected. Unlike the other cameras, there is no lag time between getting the notification and going straight to live view to talk to the person out where. You can easily talk to the person at the door and hear them clearly when they answer back. The camera has a very wide angle view as you can see from the picture. We are happy with our purchase and would highly recommend this doorbell camera to others.
