My CX-300 came three days ago. Along with the robot was a bag with parts. The instructions don’t show me where to put those parts. They’re floatation parts and it won’t climb the walls and clean without them. I called customer service 3 days ago and am still waiting to hear back. The woman who answered had no idea where they go. If I ever get to try it on my walls and waterline I will revise my rating.

The Pool Blaster does a very good job of getting debris out of your poool, and it does work with tiled pools.. I had hoped to have our pol in shape last summer. It needed resurfacing badly because we had a neighbor dumping waste water on our property, and the plastewr was discoored, with an old fiberglass surface peeling. WE fginally got it finished this summer, but a lot of leaves blew in bewfre we had it fully up and running. We put the pool blaster in and after a couple of cycles trhe leaves were cleared out. We only had to run it twice because of th4e quatityu og leaves, which was lareger than the basket. I was a little worried because the manual says it doers not work with tile. I got the Pool Blaster last year, and we had our pool tiled this year. My husband spoke with someone at the company who told him it ought to work, and... it does. The issues is, apparently, climbing the walls because of the slick surface, but it works there too. We have had no issue with it. If you have a lot of debris, as we had (because of high winds and too many trees nearby,). it may take several cycles to cleart it completely.. but it is a loot better than trying to do it manually.

Before getting this pool vac, I researched the Pool Blaster company. These people know what they are doing. They make high quality pool products that receive consistently great reviews. So I was pleased to see that they have this new product, the CX-300. My pool is fiberglass, about 30’ by 11’, and I have used a corded model that comes with a power pack and a (necessary) cart. The cord can be a hassle. And it gets a sticky, gummy feeling from floating on the water and picking up stuff. And the grandkids can’t swim in the pool while the corded vac is running. Now, the grandkids love to get their masks and snorkels and follow this CX-300, watching it motor across the pool and climb the walls. And this robot is quick and aggressive. It gets up to the waterline and scrubs it effectively. I like the choice of three modes: walls, floor or both. It runs for about three hours, enough to clean the pool without getting hung up on the stairs or jets. It is designed to stop at a wall, making it easy to retrieve with the included hook that easily attaches to a pool pole. Cleaning it is a snap. The filter basket comes out easily and flushes with a hose. The charging port is well-protected by a screw-on cap. Included is a QR code to register the product. It asks for a serial number, but I could not find it. A call to the customer care 800 number was even more confusing. They had not heard of the CX-300, but then said that it was made by a company that split off from them some years ago. Regardless, it’s a good product.

I already own handheld vacuum made by Pool Blaster and could not maintain my pool without this vac. So it goes that Pool Blaster would make a cordless robot pool cleaner that I too would love. I previously used a corded vac that was bulky and difficult to maintain. Now, I have a vac that I can put in the water and forget about it. There was very little setup and the vac was ready to use in short order from unboxing. After fully charging the vac (remember to do this out of the box), I dropped it in the pool and the cleaning commenced. The vac navigates around the pool with ease. It cleans up heavier debris like leaves and finer particulates such as sand and dirt. The vac even cleans the walls and navigates around my unique shaped pool - cleaning every nook and cranny of my pool. It did not get stuck on the stairs or a bench seat I have built into the side of the pool. The battery runs a little under three hours, which is plenty of time to completely clean my pool. Cleaning the vac is easy - the waste canister is easy to remove and clean with a house. Also, the filters are simple to clean and maintain. Overall, I am very pleased with this battery powered robotic pool vacuum - no more cords and cables. It does a great job of cleaning my pool. Along with my Pool Blaster handheld vac, this robotic cleaner will keep my pool spic and span during the swimming season.
