    • Nice flexible hose but...
We've had a different brand bidet hose we've liked very well for a couple of years but had to replace because of an unfixable leak. The first replacement I bought was from Home Depot, same place as the first but the hose was a piece of clear plastic tubing with faux exterior flex cable. It was stiff and unwieldy and I had to return it. Reading the description for this sprayers sounded good. Minimal plastic etc. (the hanger is plastic BTW). This hose functions well but has a drawback or two for me. I have weak thumbs and the lever is short so it is much more difficult to squeeze the water to come on. Then when it does, it comes out like a Tomcat catapulted off an aircraft carrier. If you aren't careful you'll give yourself an enema. Our other sprayer would let you flow the water gradually. This one is Niagara Falls from the get-go. The sprayer head must be three times as heavy as our original. Well enough made you could use it on a firetruck. If it was me designing I'd have put a little bit of that metal into extending the lever a smite longer for better leverage. If you are ever trapped in your bathroom by an intruder in your house, you can unscrew the hose at the base and use it with the spray head as a mace. It has the weight. * - Everything above was written after first impression from first use. I now love this sprayer. Much superior to the first one I had, and I loved *it*. If water pressure is too much for you it is easily adjusted with the lever at the base where the hose connects to the water supply. The solid handle enables it to be gripped in a way that instead of using a thumb to operate it can be gripped and used with index finger. The spray itself is terrific.     • Poorly designed T joint causes leaking
The T joint is poorly designed. The other reviews here said there was leaking and I decided to try for myself because of the high ratings I saw. I originally had a problem with a leak, but thought I fixed it and posted a 4 star review. I'm retracting that review to give this 1 star because the leak came back. I've mitigated the issue by purchasing thread paste (which gives a better seal). The problem is with the T joint. It's poorly engineered and does not provide a proper seal on the connection to the toilet. For the price of the item, it's definitely not worth it. ... show more

It is of good quality. I just received this and installed it less than 10 mins (approx.). I used the Teflon tape, which is a must (though the rubber seals will work fine). Two things I did not like about this bidet is the lack of "quality control" on workmanship. First, the base edges bezel of the bidet that attaches to the hose is sharp as a blade (pictured with yellow arrow), and it will cut the hell out of your hands when you accidentally squeeze that part (especially if you got big hands). I had to file the edges before I installed it. I used the "good ole' nail cutter file" technique. Secondly, the spray lever is too short. Again, if you have big hands, it's gonna be an issue. Anyhow, the unit is of good quality, and its gonna last a lifetime for sure. ... show more

Let TP2 Civil War hell flare! I am prepared!😈👹 All metal parts, 15 minutes to install if you don't count the time wasted arguing with your husband about washers and wrenches needed to hook this beast up.😡 I installed it by myself.😁 Carefully follow instructions and do a test run before administering full blast on yourself, which by the way, is not necessarily desirable.😲😳 Can be bought on Amazon Prime. Pay a little more for the one by Shark as it has no plastic parts to break. No demonstrations shall be forthcoming. I am elated to be TP FREE! 🤪😁🤡 ... show more

I am quite pleased with this product. I looked at fancy bidet toilet seats but wasn't sure about all the features, expense and complex installation. I did not have an electrical outlet nearby. I was hesitant about spraying cold water on my bottom, but it does not bother me at all. When I first used it, I sprayed a little water on the floor until I got the hang of it. It was easy to install (I am 73 years old, but can still crawl around on the bathroom floor). I thought turning it on and off to use it might be a problem, but it was easy. The few times I forgot to turn it off did not result in leaking water. I am pleased with this inexpensive solution. I use much less toilet paper and I have a sparkling clean bottom. ... show more

I gave this 5 star because its the highest quality sprayer you can possibly find. Very solid, metal materials, much heavier than other bidets. This will certainly impress the guests, and it's great to wash the bathtub or dog. However, I am returning it and getting a different one because it's just too difficult to control the water volume/velocity, and it blasts out water unless you carefully dial back the control at the lever behind the toilet. Not really ideal for us for regular use. We want gentle low flow on demand during routine use at the toilet, not for other purposes. ... show more

As described by other reviews ... this hand held bidet is solidly crafted. It looks to be stainless and brass construction throughout. It works as it is suppose to ... same concept as the dish sprayer in your kitchen sink. Like with all these hand held bidets ... you have to adjust the valve lever as you are using the sprayer ... too much open of the lever and you will get a Water Enema!!! When finished ... I would suggest closing the lever. My plumbing is CPVC and I decided to change the old turn valve and use a higher quality Sharkbite 1/4 turn Shutoff Valve. Install was super quick. I had to cut off the old compression ring on the pipe, luckily I had enough length of pipe. After that was done, the bidet install was simple and straight forward, and definitely use the included Teflon tape on all the screw fittings. ... show more
