I think it would of worked better if u had tighter curls but it seemed the curl cream just weighed my hair down. But the gel worked good!

I do like these products. It takes some getting use to with the shampoo/cleanser. No suds. It does make my hair feel clean. After using the conditioner your hair feels really moisturized and definitely detangled. My hair is really thin and gets oily quick so it's hard for me to use creams. The cream with this kit didn't make my hair feel weighted down or oily. I like it best on day 2 to freshen up my curls. It smells way better than the gel. I really love the gel. Works great at keeping down frizz which my hair does easily because it's fine. Didn't make my hair feel weighted down either. You don't have to use much. I think I'm going to try the next size up in the cleanser/conditioner and the hair gel. I'd recommend giving the sample box a try. ... show more

I tried this by putting a small amount in my hair the first time, then put a lot for the second time to see if the amount was the problem. It’s too thick and leaves my hair feeling gross like I put Crisco in my hair, and it left it frizzy. It’s just not a good product. If I had known it had coconut in it all then I definitely wouldn’t have bought it. I can’t say it doesn’t work for other hair types but for my curly hair it does not work. Every product is really effective when used according to the directions. I'm used to shampoo that lathers, so I tend to use quite a bit of the shampoo just to get the feeling of cleanliness. I would suggest using the gel and/or cream almost straight out of the shower with significantly wet hair so that it disperses better and doesn't dry with a heavy feeling. ... show more
