When I get a cold, liquid pours out of my eyes and nose like water. I can't see. I have to sit in a dark room. It's miserable. Alka-Seltzer Plus Liquid Gels are the only product I've found that even mitigates these symptoms. (They don't eliminate them but they definitely lessen my suffering.) When I came across this Sinus, Allergy, & Cough variation which seems to specifically target the cause of my suffering, I decided to give it a try. And it does seem to be more effective. Unfortunately, there is a side effect that is not on the box. They make me drowsy. REALLY drowsy. There is a different variation of this product (Night) specifically intended to help with sleep. This Sinus, Allergy & Cough variation is even more effective at making me sleepy. Night after night with no reduction in effectiveness, I can sleep for 10-11 hours after just one gelcap. I don't even wake up to go to the bathroom. I really wish I could use these during the day but when I've tried I just feel jetlagged. I'm having to use the less efffective Day variation during the day and this variation at night. When I found these on Amazon, I wondered why they weren't available locally anywhere. These are great for allergies. But I suggest taking at night because they will make you sleepy.

I live in Colorado and right next door we have a giant cottonwood tree. This year it's been overly productive with what it has dropped and I got a horrible cough with my allergies because of it. I had this shipped quick because all the stores around me were out of any of the allergy medications that helped with a cough as well. I took this lastnight for the first time and woke up refreshed because I wasn't coughing all night long. I took it this morning and I already feel better.
