  • 6 month later and still going strong, plays every game
I waited for 6 months to write this review so I could be sure it would work for everything I wanted. I have always wanted to buy a nice "ready built" gaming computer so I just spent the money and got what I wanted. It has been perfect, playing every game with no issues or concerns. It never locks up or shuts down. It is quiet and just sits under my desk waiting to play. I am 100% satisfied with this system and glad I bought it. ... show more

  • Solid Gaming PC
This is my second Alienware desktop computer. It was time to upgrade from my R7 after service for it was discontinued. Dell makes great products and has great support. So far the R12 is serving me well, and I'm impressed with all the features. It runs Windows 11 flawlessly and stays updated without much work. It's pretty quiet for a gaming computer. The fan does speed up on it's own when I'm running games like Warzone. The graphics are amazing, quick, and make the gameplay quite responsive. This computer should last me another 5 years at least until I upgrade again. Alienware has included a lot of hidden easter egg features you can take part in - contests, free games and merchandise giveaways. It's a great experience when you get an Alienware computer. ... show more

  • Nothing but issues and tech support is little help
Video card died within two months, they replaced it fairly promptly but still took a week or so. A year later the SSD drive died, they had me jump through all sorts of hoops to try to get it fixed, including sending it off for up to a week to two months to fix. They had to do three different service requests to finally get a new hard drive sent and a technician to come out to replace it. Still waiting.... Will never buy another alienware again. ... show more

  • Horrible, they should be ashamed
I am rating this PC 1 star and this is why. I bought allienware gaming PC for 1750 euro with nvidia geforce rtx 3070 and other strong components, so you would think it would be solid for gaming right? Very wrong. These gaming PCs are horribly designed. The first thing you will notice after starting up any game is the unbearable noise. Its like an airplane taking off. Just imagine you are playing a game with a vacuum cleaner running near you, how would you like that? I am not even kidding, the noise is unbearable, and its mostly caused by the top PC case fan. Another thing I have noticed is that the PC gets really hot really fast. It made me worried so I checked the temperature with some diagnostic tools and my CPU was roasting at 95C and slowing itself down in order to not go over the top temperature limit and fry the CPU completely. So you are actually getting way less performance than you are paying for. Also the components lifespan will be way shorter. The overheating is caused mostly by the terrible PC case and cheap cooling. It is the worst designed PC case I have ever seen. It is just a small metal case where all the components are cramped together (nicely heating each other) with almost no airflow and the whole metal box is then surrounded by a mountain of plastic. There are only two fans in the case which are probably the cheapest and loudest fans I have ever seen. Then there is a stock CPU cooler that does not have a chance of cooling the CPU in this oven of a PC case. Other then absolutely fatal cooling, this PC has a terrible sound but that will probably be the least of your worries. If I sum it up this PC has some high quality components (GPU and CPU) that are put together in the worst and cheapest possible way. The main problems are unbearable noise, overheating and low quality sound. I definitely do not recommend you any of the allienware PCs, you will be getting a low quality, disfunctional build for a lot of money. Instead do yourself a favor and build your own gaming PC, you will get much better PC for way less money. ... show more
