Plug n play , had it up and running within 15 minutes ( and that was mainly the software upgrades ) which were actually fast . I haven’t really customized it too much yet , but because it was on sale , and I have a Amazon card I figured I’d just buy a pre built because it’s affordable this way only like $200 a month . Nothing but issues with this PC. I got it early September and it is now late october, constant power supply issues and now it's telling me my bios is corrupted (probably due to power supply issues.) I haven't done anything sketchy with this rig and when it works it runs games great but every update it bricks for an hour or two. I’m really happy with this purchase. Let me just give the tldr for those who want to move on quickly. I purchased the Ultra 9 RTX 5080 version for $2399 when it was on sale. I was extremely nervous because the only reviews at the time were Amazon Vine Reviews. When I received it, I had to install MS home and immediately HWINFO’d it. Everything was exactly as advertised. Bonus! Wifi 7 and bluetooth 5.3 (LMP 13.16777). I really couldn’t find any bloatware other than what Microsoft installs. There are things Dell installs like their usual Support Assist but I don’t really consider that bloatware. This unit is insanely quiet and installing my 16TB HDD, 4tb nvme took less than 5 minutes. You can search Youtube for Alienware Aurora ACT1250 on how to do this. My only complaint is that even though it said it was shipped and sold by Amazon, I received it from USPS in the end so I had to take the day off now knowing when it will arrive. ... show more

With some of the complaints I was not sure how the product would arrive. Everything I expect to be part of the computer was in it. The CPU dose read as a 2.4ghz processor, but it scales up to 5.3ghz. I have informed Dell of this discrepancy and recommended they adjust that part of the description for this computer. It does however come with a base keyboard and mouse which I was not expecting and that was an awesome surprise. So far so good. The computer is quick and smooth. Like with any pc there are operational quirks to figure out with new software and getting provisional software like anti-virus up and running. That said, I bought this for work digital art and so far, while using three monitors, as long as I don't go crazy high for the size on advanced brushes everything is what I want it to be. The colors and the framerates are steady. I will update if anything nasty occurs in the short term. ... show more
