These headphones feel nice and designed to fit the person's ears, sealing the majority of outside sounds. If you wear glasses, the headphone cups do not get in the way whatsoever. The sound is 7.1 surround sound if it is enabled through the Alienware command center. The headphones work very well with my Alienware 15 R4. There are 3 ways to plug these into the laptop. There's a single connecter for headphone option only. Then, there's a dual connector for headphone/microphone option. Lastly, there's a way to connect through a USB port. On my laptop, this was the only way to achieve 7.1 surround sound. If you use these headphones, the Alienware command center allows you to create many different sound output settings. I have moved from Sony Extra Bass headphones, and in the beginning, these Alienware headphones sounded quiet. However, after adjusting the sound options through the command center, I was able to set the sound to my liking. These headphones seem to be more comfortable to listen to, for the sound doesn't have to be loud to hear all the sounds around in the game/movie. Overall, I'm satisfied with these headphones. They sound good, comfortable to wear without fatigue, and work as advertised. I was also happy to hear more sounds I previously did not notice with the previous headphones, so this was a noticeable difference. It's a solid product. Keep it up Alienware.

Everything about these headphones is amazing. The material is great. From the looks of it at first, I thought they might be fragile. But they are not. They are very well made. Comfort is 10/10. I have a big head and normal size ears and the headphones fit with no issues, there's plenty of room for adjustment. The sweet spot for sound to me is at about 40%. They are very loud at 40%. The 7.1 surround is every bit of it. I play shooters with them and I can pin point people in buildings, while running and even walking. The microphone is great. I don't even have to pull it out and people hear me loud and clear. So performance wise to me they're a 10/10. As far as looks go. I love that they look simple, mature and wouldn't embarrass me to be seen wearing them unlike many other headphones who have lights and whistles and all kinds of gimmicky things hanging out of them. The headphone is rubberized on the underside which makes it easy to wipe clean. The ear pieces are very comfortable and seal extremely well. They are fully adjustible. The ear pieces swivel and can be pulled down or pushed up to fit your size. The headphones come with 3 sets of wires. An audio and microphone splitter and a USB and a 3.5mm connector. Either wire will give you a microphone /audio combo so if your laptop doesn't have a esperate microphone plug, you're perfectly fine. Cables are a good length, around 4 ft long.

I gotta say that they are really good and they are the perfect Headsets match for an Alienware system. I really enjoy their 7.1 audio and the sound quality in general. The frequency response range is adequate. They are really comfortable, I spend hours using them and they feel really nice. I like the dual connectivity options included, either USB or regular 3.5mm audio jack. The ear cups are good at blocking external sound, so gaming sounds and music are not affected. Mic sound quality is really good, too. Since they are Discord Certified, I tried them and the voice is really clear, even with the mic retracted. I really recommend them.

Great headphones so far, having no issues with the mic and good sound quality. Super comfortable, but too bulky to be wearing out and about. Had a crappy Corsair headset were the head phone speakers quit in one ear and the mic constantly having issues. Mic issues mostly came from the Corsair dongle, which died a few months later. The only real issue I have with the Alienware head set is that the usb headphone plug gives off static noise when nothing is being played through the headset.

So I've had my fair share of headphones. Be it for music, movies, or video games. I've had skullcandy, razer, steelseries, corsair, beats, and audio technicas. So yeah i've had some ups and downs with headphones. Without a doubt this is definitely a worthy contender against other gaming headphones out there. My Ath-m50xs are definitely my favorite still, but I was completely blown away by the sound quality of the AW510h's. And thats straight up hooking them up. I will give this disclaimer though: FOR THE BEST AUDIO EXPERIENCE, CONNECT VIA USB! The only con i have is that the 7.1 surround sound goes away when connecting straight to the 3.5mm jack. Otherwise these are pretty crisp in sound. oh yeah I almost forgot, THESE DEFINITELY WORK ON A PS5 CONSOLE! (just make sure to connect the usb directly into your Ps5's usb port to get the 7.1 surround sound experience) i I'll definitely be buying more gaming headphones from Alienware in the near future! ^__^

Love the headphones and the way it just works. Plug in the audio jack to my PS4 controller, it works. Plug in the usb to my PS4, it just works. Plug in either to my computer, it just works. One thing I did though was download the Alienware software to make some adjustments so that I can get a little feedback from my own mic (when I am talking in a game, I don't like not being able to hear myself talk in the game audio channel... but the software allowed me to customize it easy, and the changes I made seemed to stick with the headphones, regardless of what I plugged it into next). Only negative point, the noise cancelling mic, not so noise canceling. I come through loud and clear which is great! But it would be better if you actually couldn't hear my keyboard at all..... also the headphones themselves are not noise cancelling, but the block sound well enough for me!
