I have always loved alienware computers and the other things they have and i do have a older laptop which is a m11x ony a 11inch gaming laptop at its time back in 2010 which still works so when this backpack shown up for me i could not pass it up even though it is for a 16inch laptop but i still can used it for other devices to. When i received the backpack first thing i notice it is very light which i like that but it also still has that premium feel to it and i love the design shape of it and the black with the blue color inside of it while also having a nice padding to protect your laptop and the alien heads is cool looking on the front and back that reflects colors when you shine light on it and i also like the rubber zipper pullers also. This backpack can hold tons of stuff to and it even fits my 2 laptops in it a big 17inch older hp laptop in the main laptop pocket which i was surprise about cause this is a 16inch backpack but that also depends on the make of laptops to cause they all have different sizes but i was happy it can fit my big laptop in it, Than i also have my alienware m11x 11inch laptop in it and even my 15.6inch portable monitor and there is still more room in it for other stuff like a tablet while it also has more pockets inside than it also has 2 pockets on the outside of it and a small pocket for you earbuds i was blown away how much stuff this backpack can hold. I have 0 cons to say about this backpack i was really blown away by how much it can hold and the design of it i really love and also while being light and feeling premium and now i have a place to put those 2 laptops to protect them instead of sitting on the floor next to my desk and i am even going to put my 2 tablets in it also when I'm not using them. I fully recommend this backpack and even if you don't have a alienware laptop that doesn't mean you can't use this backpack cause it can be used for any laptop as long as it fits in it and even than you can also use it for other devices so this does get a solid 5 stars from me and i love it👍 ... show more

I like everything about this backpack but cannot get over the way the straps were constructed, as they feel like they were chopped off too abruptly. I wish it went a little longer, but this is a tall adult speaking. I am sure for someone shorter or not a full grown man, this would be perfect. The chest strap just sits awkwardly for me, not quite by the sternum, not quite by my diaphragm... other than that, with the straps out of the way, I am blown away at how this 1) stands up while opened on the floor, 2) has zippers in the side pockets, 3) has a wireless earbuds pocket / or small chapstick pocket, 4) has a minimalistic storage system, and 5) the colors: holo alien, cool zipper pull tabs, and a nice purple interior. I like the shape and fit. Had the straps been longer, I would’ve given it 5/5. I wouldve say its a 4/5 because I keep thinking about the abruptly ending straps…. And you need to know this…. So, what would you want to know about this bag? Bottle, 16” laptop, will it fit? Those side pockets, while they have a zipper each, do not fit a water bottle very well. It would be great for tiny adapters or snacks. Fits a 16” laptop just fine. ... show more

I'm super picky about my laptop bags; I carry two laptops when I'm traveling (one for work and one for play), and I'd be super upset should anything happen to either, so I need a very secure bag. I also have quite a few accessories I carry with them; a headset in it's case, controller... lots of things that I have spared no expense on. My last bag was a hardshell but a strap eventually broke and I needed to find something not only to replace it, but that was built well enough that I didn't have to worry about that happening again. This bag is IT! It has enough room for everything I need to keep in it, along with my more mundane things like notebooks and chargers, there are pockets everywhere (even one one each side of the base of the straps), and the stitching is solid. Not only is this super secure and well made, it looks amazing, too. There are small Alienware logos on the bag that are reflective giving a rainbow effect, the zipper pulls are beautifully colored, and the inside is so so SO vivid! If you're a fan of Alienware, this backpack is a great addition. It's a really nice, standard backpack with cool Alienware branding. It’s comfortable to wear and has a great design. My son absolutely loves it and immediately claimed it as his – a definite win!

    • The styling is very controversial

Sleek, modern, aerodynamic ... a few words that came to mind when I saw this. My goto backpack for over a decade of traveling has been a large Swissgear. It's not as sexy as this thing but to put this into perspective, this can hold maybe half the volume. If you are a light packer this backpack will work. This doesn't have a lot of pockets for storing whatever junk you might be carrying around. It's best if you can limit it to what you need and no more. the one thing I will note that I did not like is the side pocket, where I would expect to put a water bottle. I don't feel like it's sufficiently large to hold a decent sized water bottle. If you're just carrying around a 20oz plastic (ie store bought/disposible) bottle, sure that'll be fine. But not anything larger. I will use this backpack and I think it's got a need, where I don't want to carry around a bulky Swissgear pack but need to travel with my laptop and maybe a few other things. ... show more

The exterior has a smooth, water-repellent finish that held up well in recent rain and is easy to clean. The whole bag feels very premium, from the material to the stitching.
