    • Honest review. Included the "faults", but definitely 5*, even with them.
I love this laptop. In fact, I love it so much, I ordered all Alienware gear after how impressed I was with this product. It is a little heavy, but it is not overwhelming. Given all that is packed into this thing, you wouldn't expect it to be light. I imagine some of that weight is in the body. It had better be tough to protect all the high end components inside. It does die pretty quickly if you use it on battery mode only. I have only done this a few times, since I am mostly using it near an outlet anyway. It is a bit louder than I would like when using heavy processes like games. Again, these things are to be expected on a laptop running a 50 series graphics card and graphics heavy games. It is plenty powerful enough to run games on high graphics settings. It does get pretty warm too, but again, not crazy hot. I wouldn't want to game with it in my lap though. The picture quality is fantastic. The Alienware dashboard is great. There are lots of options to customize things your way. I was a little worried about the color at first, but now I love it. I built my whole gaming area around this color now. I have used it for gaming, digital art, and plenty of videos. It handles everything like a champ. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is a phenomenal laptop! The graphics are always on the highest settings on my games. The performance is blazing fast and I’m always hitting above 80-120 FPS. Surprisingly, this is just a smidge lighter that’s my than my Macboon AIR m.2. The screen resolution is almost 3k and the color reproduction is on point. The battery life lasts me all day without doing gaming, but all day when plugged in. The initial setup took me practically minutes and Windows 11 HOME immediately updated over internet. If you are looking for an amazing laptop that will last you for several years then this is it. I can also attest to the longevity of Alienware, because my Alienware 14 is still kicking today and I purchased that back in 2011. ... show more

It’s fast and powerful. Handles video editing and large amounts of photos without bogging down. Runs games like cyberpunk 2077 with decent graphics settings. I am am a little bit surprised at how often it has updated the system bios. You can touch it while this is going on. Not everyone might realize when it says don’t power off, it really means leave it alone while doing this. I’ve had this system for 2 months, at least 3 bios flashes have occurred. ... show more

Getting this laptop was a good idea, not only does it run smoothly. However, it can handle the type of games that I play. The only thing to be aware of is that it can get hot, so I do recommend getting something to elevate it from not overheating, like a laptop stand. Overall, it works well, and it has a nice weight.
