Been using this laser for a week now. Bought it for a small job but its size is very convenient. Looks like a tank. Very stable for it's size. I used it for birch ply and leather. No problem engraving. It has a built in sensor that stops it when the table or laser itself is bumped. Safe to use and does a really good job for basic stuff. I used lightburn and this works seamlessly with it. No complaints for the price!

This Algolaser T-150 Pro does a great job for small jobs. Easy to use. Easy to set up and versatile in its engraving capabilities. I got about 20 metallic business cards out of the laser before it died on me. Total work days: 3 days and about 2 hour total time used. It does a great job printing/engraving small items, but the only drawback I see now is the laser won't last long.

After researching several desktop laser engravers, I chose the AlgoLaser for its built-in safety features. The Class 1 rating and automatic shut-off from tilt detection were major factors for me as a home user with kids. The machine is surprisingly compact and lightweight, so I can easily move it from my garage to my desk. I’ve successfully engraved on metal (with coating) and wood with crisp results. The 150x150mm engraving area handles most plaques and phone cases I make as gifts. Setup was straightforward, though the initial focus adjustment took a minute to master.
