This is going to be a good vacation bag but I wouldn't get it for an everyday bag. I got the lighter beige color and that might be why I'm not in love with it, the straps look a little cheap and that's a bummer because the rest of the bag is super cute and spacious.

This straw crossbody bag is such a cute addition to my summer outfits. The quality feels really nice for the price with sturdy stitching and a soft woven texture that doesn’t feel cheap at all. It’s a perfect medium size and fits my phone wallet lip gloss and sunglasses with room to spare. I love the leather strap which adds a nice contrast and is comfortable to wear all day. The magnetic closure and zipper give extra peace of mind when I’m out and about. This is a perfect bag for Spring, Summer and Fall. I wish I would have acquired this a few months ago, as I would have used this exclusively in my travels to the south eastern US, but I will use it for sure all the rest of this summer, and into the Fall for my future travels requiring air travel. It is such a versatile bag (dress it up or down), folds down flat, and goes with so many of my outfits. For reference, I am about twice the width of the model in the pictures (imagine Mrs. Clause right after a cruise), but I can really appreciate the perfect length of the strap to use over my shoulder or as a crossbody, and the zipper and closure to keep my stuff in and other's fingers out. It is also a great size - not too big, not too small. It is very light, but the fabric is sturdy and well made. I also like that I can put enough stuff in it to manage getting around to the store or around town, like my phone, wallet, sunglasses and lip gloss. I like the wider bottom as it is stable when I set it down. Inside, it is lined with what seems to be a light linen, with one small zippered pocket and two open pockets to put items in. This is a Crossbody bag that looks like burlap but does not have that scratchy texture. It is trimmed out with coordinating leather on the bottom, sides, closure tab and long strap. They say the strap is optional, but this is really too big to be a clutch bag. I think the strap is required if you don't want to be dropping it. The inner lining is color coordinated and has a zippered enclosure on one side and a small open pocket on the other. The bulk of the items you put in this bag will be in the bottom of the bag. The lining is not super heavy-duty, so my guess is that it will be the most likely area that will show wear - the rest of the bag is pretty heavy-duty and the structure, fit and finish is quite nice. This is a nice bag for most occasions, especially for summer and fall outings. It does fold really flat if you need to pack it - but if you're like me, I don't waste my luggage space with multiple purses so if I'm not using this bag as my travel purse, I won't be packing it as a spare... ... show more
