  • Great Headlights!! Not an easy install but worth the time and effort
Love these headlights! My driver side headlight broke due to debris on the freeway sadly. They needed to be replaced anyway soo I got these at a killer deal and they are so worth it. They come with a new harness just not the headlight bulbs to take YOUR headlights and swap them over. These headlights require you to remove the bumper In order to do it correctly without risk of bending or damaging the bumper hoping so save a min or two. To remove the bumper you need to remove 2 8MM bolts 1 on each side just behind the plastic walls. 4 push pins need to be removed (as well as remove the grille that’s just 6 push clips to pop out super easy...usually lol) and 3 10 mm bolts on the very bottom of the bumper. Also if you have Or don’t have for lamps make sure they are disconnected from either the lamp assembly or the bumper itself otherwise if you take it off and don’t remove it you risk damaging those components. Once those are removed just slide the bumper off and put a blanket down or set it on the grass nearby to help a avoid scratches. To remove the passenger HL remove 3 bolts. 2 on bottom 1 on top. Be sure to remove the plastic air tunnel to the right of the light otherwise you’re not getting it out lol. It should just wiggle out with a gentle pull. The hard part is wiggling it out because you have a metal bracket the lame sits on for extra support. It will take some wiggling and gentle maneuvering it should come out. And just disconnect the main harness with a red tab and pull it off. Again make sure you swap over YOUR headlights both low and high beams into the new assembly and plug it in first I forgot to do that so it was kinda tricky to connect it with not a lot of room lol. Then just do the reverse process of removal. The driver side is much easier just 3 bolts and it should slide out much easier there no need to remove anything extra. Hope this helps if you get stuck. I did this on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 3.7L V6 this should apply to almost all models from 2005-2007. I don’t think this applies to SRT8 models but I could be wrong. ... show more

  • It was easier to replace my Weather Fogged headlights rather than try to buff the original lights
I watched the Youtube videos and decided that replacing with new was faster and easier than trying to buff out the fog haze of my original headlights. Although the job wasn't quite as easy as the Youtube video made it seem, it did go well, and my 2007 Jeep looks like new again. I had my adult son help, because at 80 and with metal knees, I can no longer work down low, but we had removed the bumper and grill and changed the headlights and the parking lights and had the whole front of the Jeep back on the car in about an hour. A sharp knife makes pulling the center of the plastic rivets easy, and there were only a fewmetal bolts requiring wrenches. ... show more
