  • Front head lights
Color: Black Housing
Overall nice lights made a difference in the appearance of my truck. Easy to install.

  • Bright beams take H1 bulb.
This is relatively easy to install on the F150. The halo LEDs needed to be soldered in. I upgraded all lights to LEDs. with the LEDs, the headlamps are much brighter and cleaner looking. I delayed installing the highbeams with LEDs until I discovered that they were H1. The H1 LED required the heat sink to be machine down to allow the retaining clip to fully engage the lamp. installing the Hakari H1 LED requires removing the metal housing for the high beam by removing 2 P1 Phillips head screws. after machining the heat sink the clips snapped in simply and then reinstall the metal housing in the headlamp assembles. ... show more

  • Fantastic Upgrade, but Be Prepared for Wiring Tweaks
Color: Black Housing
I bought the AKKON Black Bezel Dual Halo LED G2 headlights to replace my hazed and worn-out OEM lights on my Ford F-150, and I’m really happy with the result. Interestingly, when the package arrived, it was branded as Spyder, which I had seen in other reviews, so it’s clear you’re getting the same product as Spyder headlights at a great price. One downside is that there were no installation instructions included, so I had to research online to figure out the best wiring setup. There are multiple ways to wire these in, and while my current setup works fine, I regret not wiring the daytime running lights (DRLs) to an ignition auxiliary live wire instead of pairing them with the normal beam. I’ll likely revisit the wiring down the road to optimize it for my needs. That said, the headlights look fantastic—a huge aesthetic upgrade from the stock lights—and they perform very well. For the price point, these are a solid purchase, just be ready to spend a little time figuring out the wiring. ... show more

  • Nice headlight for a renewed look on my 05 f150 and they even come with bulbs!
Color: Chrome Housing
I like the look of the headlights and they seem to be made well. That being said the highbeam H1 lamp is easily moved so you have to be careful not to cause a misalignment. I struggled to correct this issue once it happened. The lowbeam projector is nice and I put in an led by beamtech that works perfectly and delivers great visibility over stock. NEED TO KNOW prior to install 1) the metal clip on the far outsides of the lights are cheap keep the originals and replace them itll save some time later. 2) replacement of any if not all bulbs is impossible without removing the whole light which is why #1 is key. 3) the high beams will not take most h1 LEDs you need the fanless with the metal bands so they can be folded down. 4) the secondary or style LEDs are best wired to the brown running light wire on the far outside of the lights. 5) adjustments of the lowbeams can be done with a racheting wrench must have a slim tool or else the job requires removal yet again. and the lowbeams in mine where all the way down. FYI. ... show more

  • Great Look and very exact and strong lights
Color: Chrome Housing
Good: Both main lights are strong. Low beams have a very exact border and are easy to adjust up and down. (no fast adjust for trailer) The other lights are all LED and look real nice in dusk and dawn! I love the look of these lights on my F150. Bad: Nothing bad really other than the.... Ugly: wiring the lights allows many options as to how to hook up all the LED lights and that can get very involved by intruding into the cable system of the truck. However my truck is older and I stared hooking it into the ... show more

  • They really are Spyder (not a bad thing)
Color: Black Housing
Arrived quickly. Couldn’t ask for more in packaging but maaaaayyyyy be a little out of my school to install correctly for warranty sake. I’m only attaching pics of the box, pkg, lights, and booklet just as they arrived. Note: Somebody mentioned the top of the projection beam is clipped. Actually that is deliberate so you don’t fry the eyes of up coming traffic...likely a Federal NHTS projection beam requirement as we’ve had them on the new vehicles we built and on my wife’s Chrysler 200. LEDs are funny things and respond to little nuances in your electrical system. The fellow who mentioned a separate hot lead and fuse was right-on. Good suggestion. Make sure everything is well sealed against moisture and salt spray CORROSION! Only take a few micro ohms to screw it up. Enuff said. Nice product. Hope the pics help. Thanks to the other folk who took time to answer my questions. Update: Idiot simple to install...three bolts. I don’t like led jewel lights so I sealed them off in the event I change my mind. Low beam is a little weak and YES! The top brow is clipped. I want to replace low beam bulb with led beam...but the high beam...HOLY SMOKES! They just look dope! With my stainless steel deer bashed and riveted grill...ho yeah!!! ... show more

  • Warranty is only 90 days
Color: Black Housing
In the beginning, I really liked the look of these lights. I read some people were having moisture issues with these lights, but figured I would put a bead of silicon around the seam and give it a go. Less than six months in and I have moisture in one of them. The lights don’t look so good any more. The vendor is horrible to work with. Once you get them they are yours. Don’t expect any support at all from them after 90 days. In my opinion $175.00 is too much for lights that last less than 1 year. Overall with out the moisture issue, I would be ok with the lights. Some things to know about the lights. The halo ring is a white light. The bulb that comes with it is a yellow light. Would seem like a well thought out light would come with lights of the same color. I also had to purchase 2 amber marker light bulbs. My truck used clear bulbs with amber lenses. The last issue I had with them, is that the low beam lights have a very narrow light beam that doesn’t light up the road shoulders. They also aren’t nearly as bright as the stock lights were. My overall recommendation would be to think hard about weather you would be ok with moisture in your lights before you buy these. It is not a 5 minute job to install these lights and they are not cheap to purchase. There are even other vendors that offer a one year warranty on these lights. ... show more
