These worked perfectly to replace the old, yellowed lamp lenses. Replaced my fog lamp lenses at the same time since I already had the bumper cover off. What a difference these make to the look of my MDX. I have no issues with the beam pattern for night driving, they look to be US spec. The install took me under an hour from start to finish. They were well packaged for shipping, no damage and the lenses themselves were covered with a clear plastic film to prevent scratches during install. ... show more

I use these on my 2005 Acura MDX and they look beautiful! I tried so many different products to get the fogginess off the lenses, but nothing worked. These are a very good fit.

Great product but install is a bear. Need to remove the front bumper and associated support brackets to get headlights out. You will break 3/4 of the pop clips in this process so buy new ones. Also found out there are small lamps on the very outside edge that apparently have been burnt out the entire time I’ve owned the vehicle. They are 194 bulbs and I bought some LED ones for replacement. ... show more

To their credit, the light assemblies were very well packed and the dimensions are exactly the same as OEM. So they fit the 2006 MDX fine. Their main problems however relate to the beam pattern. They seem to follow the ECE standard, more common in Europe. From the pics below you'll see both the left and right projectors are even with the horizon and then deflect at the midpoint and aim up and left at a 15-30d angle. The effect is to light up the sidewalk or rear end of vehicles to your right on multi-lane roads. It's not the DOT pattern that comes OEM from Honda. I really hated it. The second problem is the poor accuracy of the cut outs on the back of the assemblies. None of the holes are well machined for the blinkers, side markers, H11s or 9005s. It almost seems like they were done from memory or done by hand. The net effect was one or two of the lights wiggled around too much. Absolutely unacceptable. Worse yet is their customer service. I've asked upwards of 4 times now for a return shipping label, which they agreed to send. But they still haven't sent it. I'll never purchase another product from Akkon. Only complaint is I felt screws should have came with them. I had dropped a couple while removing old light and had to find something to fit which was not easy since I do not have a surplus. They are great lights! EXCELLENT price.
