These are really good gloves, but I'm a little stymied in my review by the fact that they are 8oz gloves intended for bag work. I have never used such a low weight for bag work before, barring MMA gloves that are open finger and a completely different beast. These are very well made as far as I can tell. Nice stitching, very clean lines, solid material. The wrist protectors work nicely albeit you'll have to use your teeth or get a friend to help you cinch them up. I'm average size and these are fine for my hands, although I am not sure if I feel a bit of slight overpronation in the left glove. They absorb shock very nicely. Update: I now realize what these bags are designed for. They are basically competition gloves with velcro so that you can do bag work with competition size gloves. This actually feels a little more comfortable for MMA training as well. They are starting to loosen up, but I think I won't be able to fully review them for a month or two due to the break-in period. ... show more

I ordered the 2024 Guerreros because I loved the new design, but was very disappointed to see a drop in quality in these handmade gloves. The padding seems uneven throughout, but most noticeably along the thumb and finger tips where some impinging can be felt because of the lumpy padding. I took a photo comparing the original black/orange gloves, which were phenomenally constructed, to the new black/gold gloves which have noticeably uneven padding. Otherwise, the gloves feel okay but concerns me if there might be other quality issues that I haven’t noticed ... show more

These gloves are excellent quality and perform just as well. Make sure to check the sizing chart and measure your hand to see at what size you land. This is essential for the best fit. These gloves are very comfortable. They aren't a heavy glove - they are a bag glove and not for sparring. The gloves have a velcro wrist closure that offers a secure fit as well as good wrist support. The gloves feel great on and have providing plenty of protection for my hands.
