This replacement headlight set is a great plug and play set to update your F-250 or Excursion. Like some other reviews the marker light bulb connector is a little difficult to get in the housing but if you take your time it will fit without modification. do yourself a favor and go ahead and replace the turn signal marker light with an LED one before you put it in the truck due to the location being impossible to change without removing the headlight. As with any time you put an electrical connector together on a vehicle using dielectric grease to seal the connections with. I have an aftermarket bumper on my truck so in order to get the old ones out and put the new ones in I loosened the bumper to let it down some and pulled the grill cover bolts loose to make it easier to get the headlights in and out. Put everything in and test it. The LED connector is polarized so test it before screwing it into the truck. I will be changing out the bulbs themselves to LED h1 bulbs before too long. These headlights are pretty amazing. They add just the perfect amount of style, and those addidtional white halo style lights. Awesome. Appearance is 10/10. Ease of installation was slightly off. The headlight assemblies themselves fit perfectly. But the additional halo lights didn’t have the correct plug to be as easy of a plug and play type of deal, I had to wire it directly. Looks great, easy install, lights work really good. Only downfall is the turn signal holders aren't perfectly cutout and I did have to file them down a bit. It say they won't work on XL trucks (factory glass sealed beams) but THEY DO FIT. Just have to take a bracket off and Ford was nice enough to have a add-a-pigtail on the harness you just have to disconnect and plug into the new headlight. You will have to switch to orange bulbs if you do the conversion though.. Great upgrade for your truck. ... show more

I had already done the one piece, 05-07 conversion on my 04 Excursion. These housings fit perfectly with no other modifications to the units. I did have to barely trim two of the tabs on the parking light sockets with a razor blade, but no big deal. The picture doesn't do it justice since I have LED parking lights and they tend to glare in pictures but the white running light is bright and crisp. The headlight bulbs are a little dim but I will be replacing with LED's. Overall, great product! ... show more

After reading all the reviews, I hesitated in buying these lights. Then I did the right thing and bought them. I have an 07 F350 and these lights bolted on easy! Not 1 single issue. I have no clue as to why everybody else is complaining about the install. Took me 5 minutes. Great product and looks amazing!!! ... show more

    • Pretty good LED's with some problems
I feel sort of like a guinea pig on this one. After reading the other reviews of people saying the lights weren't any brighter than stock I realized no one had purchased the version with the LED Lowbeams and instead had just opted for the cheaper halogens. Let me say that the LED option is the way to go. It is way brighter than stock, the beam pattern with the projectors is amazing and the crisp white light is the finishing touch. The high beams are still yellow Halogens unfortunately but the low beams should handle most of your lighting needs. One downside that I didn't realize is that the LED light bar isn't very bright during the day. It definitely doesn't pop the way it does at night. You may be able to tell a little difference with the black housing but on the chrome housing you probably won't be able to tell that they are on during the day. Luckily they look really good at night. The problem is related to the other reviews but not the same. It seems Spyder (who is the actual maker of this headlight) did not shape the holes for the turn signal twist lock correctly and thus the factory bulb socket on the truck will not fit into the new headlight assembly. This is what others have complained about. However, it appears spyder has tried to correct this by supplying a bulb socket that does fit the assembly, however, this new socket does not simply plug into the old one. Rather you have to splice the wires coming off the new socket into the factory wire harness. But this yet again introduces another issue. With the factory halogen turn signal bulbs installed in this new socket I have hyperflash. The new socket must not offer the proper amount of resistance that the factory one did. Now I will have to buy resistors just to get the Halogen bulbs to function. I was planning on switching to LED turn signals but now I have no idea if that will work. Spyder needs to bite the bullet and fix the headlight assembly itself and not offer half baked solutions. Depending on customer service I will update this to 4 stars if they provide a proper resistor. ... show more

These are truly plug and play, installed into 2006 F350 lariat. Make sure to measure out your light zones on factory headlights before changing, it will make it much easier to adjust headlights after installation. All factory plugs fit, no modifications needed, just go slow and you can get them all to seal correctly. I upgraded the bulbs to high end HID’s before instal and added LED Running/ Blinker, make sure you add a CANbus so you don’t have hyper Flash or problems down the road. There is little room inside the housing for the HID bulbs, so upgrading to LED would mostly Likely cause issues with fitment into truck and also sealing the lights from moisture getting in. Total install time under an hour, I spent more time admiring afterwards. Have fun! And check your bulbs before installing to make sure they all work properly! ... show more

Install was easy. Everything lined up. All the connectors snapped in to the factory connectors. Fired up the lights and everything worked except the LED light bars.. I’m waiting on customer service but I’m extremely disappointed.. hopefully they can figure out what’s wrong. The lights look awesome and are brighter than stock lights. Just want the LED to function. That’s why I purchased this style light! ... show more
