Its not too heavy or too light either it's just right press quality is great I can turn it on and walk away and it stops once the timer runs out so very time saving if you ask me i havent test it on hats or mugs yet just clothing

It took me a bit before I figured out how to control the temperature. The instructions did not show which button to press to set the temp and timer. Once I figured that out, it works perfectly. Basically, plug in, place you material on the mat, turn on, press the button that says set (looks like a wrench + gear), wait for the buzzer to signal it's hot enough, lower the lever, press the start button and when the buzzer goes off lift the plate and its done. Works great to quickly iron your shirts too. I do wish the power cord was longer so I can place this somewhere else in my office. I haven't used the hat, cup or plate feature yet. It does come with a wench and screwdriver to remove the main heat press so you can attach the other attachments which looks like a pain but you want it to be secure so I understand. I did pay extra for the purple so it can match my Cricut and my storage containers that are the same color. I love the color. The pressure is good and you can control it with the knob to the left of the controls. So if you want to do a pillow that is already stuffed you can lift the plate for more room. I will say the temp control works but it is a few degrees off but never below the temp you set. It does not feel cheaply made and is solid. It's not easy to tip it over.

Me and my little girl are still supplementation. Beginners, but I love the swing away aspect of this thing and so many different accessories. I do not know what a person could do to a heat press that would make it cooler than this one.
