I am really impressed with how well this heat press worked right out of the box with minimal setup. I tried using it to make a few more can koozies and was thrilled at how easily and quickly I made three at a time. Previously I was using a Cricut EasyPress and having to iron each koozie one by one, and with this AKEYDIY press I can easily fit 9 on the plate at once! At first I thought the "slide out plate" feature was silly, but I immediately found myself utilizing it to peel the transfer paper and add the next color layer of vinyl to my projects - it's actually pretty handy. The machine does take a while to heat up (about 10+ minutes, I think it suggests 15 in the manual) but it seems to do a nice, even heating job. I was a little surprised there weren't more instructions with this product: for example, I am not 100% sure how to use the "mode" feature but I think this is for creating up to 3 presets for your temperature and time values. I'm sure I can figure it out with some trial-and-error or googling. I was also surprised that the [short] manual doesn't warn you to use something like parchment paper to avoid adhesive burning on the heat plate. Anyway, the product itself seems to work really well and I'm looking forward to many years of fun with it!

Love this shirt press! This is very easy to use and does a great job at applying even pressure on whatever you are wanting to create. I had some older ink transfer paper and printed out a couple of pics that they drew and made some quick t-shirts for the grands. They absolutely loved it and it really dressed up some really cheap shirts! I really like how you can adjust the pressure and how the bottom slides out so you don't have to worry about burning yourself as you try to lay the shirt/item on it. It got nice and hot but didn't burn the shirts. I'm totally happy with this and completely recommend it!

I have never made a tshirt before but this thing made it so easy. Very user friendly. Digital pad makes it easy to adjust time, heat and pressure. Having a lot of fun with it making tshirts. Holding up great. Functions well with even heating. The size is perfect for easy storing and usage.

The media could not be loaded. This heat press performs well and as described. The included instructions are limited (I've tried many and they all work basically the same). I am familiar with many models and brands of heat presses and this particular version is impressive having most of the features I like and want in a good press. This particular AKEYDIY model has everything needed for good results with simple operation. The slide out work platform allows the user to access the generous 15"x15" work area ensuring the substrate i.e. t-shirt is flat and the transfer is positioned as desired. The control panel is simple to learn and use, and includes 3 most common modes. The outer shell of the platen does get hot to the touch (hence the pull out work area to protect from burning your forearm). The unit does heat up slower than some others I have tried, but it does distribute the heat evenly. The control box has a "piece count" which is useful if you're doing multiples of something. This model does not include any attachments, but it is a great flat bed only press that can be used for sublimation, heat transfer vinyl projects from t-shirts, mouse pads, car coasters, tote bags, make up bags, Koozies and much more with excellent results. This heat press is definitely a good choice for a small business or hobby crafter.
