Two-way communication with Ableton Live It communicates directly with AbletonLive and receives feedback from the software, instantly displaying the information on the APC40 clip matrix and LEDs surrounding each knob. The clip matrix allows you to quickly and reliably see the state of clips (what is loaded, what is played, what is being recorded). It's clear at a glance whether to focus on the target clip or to look down at the entire loaded set. Operability The APC40 has 16 8x2 knobs, and the top eight knobs (Track Control) control global parameters such as SEND and pan. The lower eight (Device Control) are dynamically assigned according to the selected track. You can control eight track parameters at once, and when you change channels, the bottom eight knobs (Device Control) change depending on the state of the selected channel. In addition, the 40 (5x8) clip status display (Clip Launch), which can be displayed only because of APC40, allows access to unlimited cells by scrolling, not limited to 40 clips. The upper eight knobs (Track Control) can switch the display with four parameter (Pan / Send A / Send B / Send C) banks. Control parameters of 9 tracks including Master.
